  1. I've had this up on eBay for some considerable time, however I've had all of probably 2-3 bites from people wanting it for stupidly low money (which was never going to happen especially when some of the kit is probably worth more as individual items and it cost me almost a grand originally). Probably eBay is the wrong place as it's more a piece of speciality kit. I've recently changed jobs and I have even less time nowfor this and my 1/5th and 1/8th cars. so I need to get rid.

I never really flew it though, couple of times unsuccessfully in the garden, and frankly had more fun modding it with bits and pieces (legs, ceramic GPS etc).

The compass/NAZA has been re-calibrated and re-setup so the TX/RX at leasts functions in the correct modes and the rotors start up. It will still need configuration post me swapping between the original TX/RX. Trim and AETR etc will need some config, so for this reason I'm selling as ARTF (although to be fair most people would need to setup to their preferences anyway).

It powers up, but as above needs to be configured for correct flight.
(Requires NAZA-M V2 2.4 software and a suitable windows 7/8/10 PC/Laptop with Naza (unsigned) drivers install to configure)

Thought I would see if there is any interest here as a job lot before I consider breaking it up and sell as parts (not that really have the time anymore to do so lol!)

  2. So, I've just been chatting to someone that I work with as he know's I've been looking at Quad/Hex Copters and he mentioned that he was watching a program last night called "All Creatures Great & Stuffed"

There was a guy on there that apparently sent his cat away to a taxidermist so he could turn it into a QuadCopter.

    Unbelievable.

  3. No issues bud,my sale ,my way anything else I can help you with,or maybe you buy them and then you split them......... :tank:

Ah I see, "It's a bit hard", two parcels and all that, it can be rather confusing... I get ya :P

I did consider buying the x4, but you won't split it and someone got there before me :)

  4. I currently have an UberRC air filter on my 5B, and it's seen better days.

I was looking at a few:

Uni Short Stack & TGN Redneck

    Easy Clearance and Redneck

    R2C Tall Stack

Any recommendations? or those to steer clear of?

  5. Probably one of the first things to do is get rid of talkcrap as an ISP, awful service imho and both my mate and his dad have had nothing but problems with dropped connections. slow access etc. (thats the VERY short version), plus they are completely useless when it comes to resolving technical issues.

Secondly the modems supplied by talktalk are generally quite poor with limited functionality, however again I've tried both dlink and netgear with not much better results with talktalk, but i put that primarily down to their poor network performance. What you really need to establish in this instance is the recommended chipset and find a router with that one used (broadcom etc)

Finally and this is probably your best option, do away with wireless as it's subject to outside interference, especially in the 2.4Ghz band (most people also use the same channels 6 or 11 so they contend with the surrounding traffic) but if you cant hard wire directly get a set of powerline adapters, you can pick up a cheap pair of 200Mbps for about

  6. Here's mine, albeit probably a bit overkill for what you need, although the principle is the same for local backups. 10TB of storage (RAID5), HP Procurve Gigabit Switch (

  7. I now know why I never fixed my leaky shed....too wet to go up in flames !

Poor guy....insurance prob wont cover that sort of kit :shockingscary:

I don't see why it wouldn't cover it, but what price do you put on time and effort for building, upgrading etc. i would be horrified if this was me. Poor guy.
