The 160a esc will work mate but they are only rated to 160a max and they have a reputation of being rather, how can I put it.... S***! Had one with my virus and 2650 and it blew after about 4 packs. Find the 150a one or I use the ezrun sc8 wp 120a. Rated much higher than the 160a and around the same price (ish) hope this helps bud.

Ok new problem. Both motors get really hot while running. Tried the 1900 on a 17/48 and 2650 on 15/48. Using a nitro shell with one of the holes covered (engine one) should I get a larger/smaller pinion? Esc and Lipo both cool also.

So keep the 1900 and get a bigger pinion/smaller spur? If I decide to get rid of the 2650 mate ill give you first refusal cheers for the help guys.

Hi guys I'm converting a d8 hara to brushless and I have two motor choices (as I own both already and I'm a cheep Scotsman lol) either a 1900 4 pole turnigy or a 2650kv trackstar 6 pole. I'm running the ezrun wp sc8 esc on and have 3s and 4s Lipo (mainly 4s) I also have 3 pinion choices 15/16/17 (again cause I have them and the reason above lol) what do you guys think I should put in it? Will be used mainly for racing and some light bashing any help would be great cheers.

Would you split the nandas and road tyres bud?

The trophy mount is too small for my motor. (Turnigy 1900 from hobbyking). Pain in the arse as I had to make a mount for my virus 2.0.

Cheers for the part numbers djr looked them up and from the pictures it wouldn't work. The ve8 mounting holes are closer together than the d8 but not enough to make new holes at have it sit right. Cheers guys for all the help and replies.

I tried to give him a chance to rectify his mistake but he was having none of it. Hi guys I bought an ansmann virus 2.0 brushless (not the best but I like it) and I feel like the stock motor mount could do with upgrading. I want to make it myself but not sure what is best. Won't use alloy as I can't get my hands on any so 3mm steel seems a good choice. what design would be best that won't flex with a hard bump (or crash in my case lol) also does anyone have any technical drawings or measurements I could use?
