  1. I have a tekno D8 hara that I will be listing when my Xray comes. What price are you looking to spend?
  2. Cheers Paul you're a star. Got them today. Will def get more sizes when I need them.
  3. Weird size but have you got 5/11/5 it's for a brushless motor. Cheers Davie
  4. I might have some 4s 4500 hard case turnigy ones going up if you're interested. Should be around the end of the month though if you can wait.
  5. I'll pm you on pay day (friday) buddy cheers
  6. That's great bud. But just because I'm thick as two short planks I forgot the the rest are 8x16x5! So change of plan. I need 30 8x16x5 and 10 8x14x4. Sorry about the mix up cheers
  7. How much would 30 8x14x4 bearings be bud. For a D8 electric (if my size is wrong) cheers
  8. My Lipo limit is 4s both ran 19/48 gearing for both motors highest temp I got was 50? so I don't think they are geared poorly. Might just bite the bullet and buy 6000mah 2s in series. Hobbyking here comes the credit card lol
  9. Yeah gearing was the same. Would I be right in thinking that the 1250w is more efficient than a 1800w?
  10. Any idea why a 2250 would last longer than a 1900 on the exact same setup?
  11. Ok here goes. Got an 8th buggy a 2250kv motor and a 1900kv motor. Im running mechanical brakes also. The 1900 has a 1800w output the 2250 has a 1250w output. Lipo is a 4500mah 4s. Does the 1900 draw more power than the 2250 meaning less run time? asking cause when I first started with the 2250 my run time was around 16 - 18 minutes when I added the mechanical brakes (to help cool the motor) that dropped to 12 minutes. I thought if I got the lower kv motor I could raise that but it has got even lower. Also when I set the lvc to 3.4 it comes back as 3.8 on the battery even under load I've even gone down to 2.6 and it still comes out as 3.4 under load. Esc is a sc8 motors are 1900kv turnigy and 2250kv hobbywing. Anyone got any thoughts on any of my incoherent ramblings cheers
  12. I did manage 19 minutes with my 2250 on the same battery but my esc settings were adjusted a hell of a lot better than the last time I raced. My cut off was too high and I was using motor brakes so mechanical brakes a new motor and light throttle and I should be good. If not try something else lol cheers guys
  13. Cheers guys managed to source a 1900 from shdaxter. Gives me a roll out of around 40mph and more torque than any nitro lol also might be able to push a 20 minute final on a 4500 battery lol
  14. Cheers turbo thats helpful. hope shdaxer gets back to me
  15. That's why the turnigy one really speaks to me as I'm cheap lol.
  16. I only run 4s so that's no problem. Comparing the leopard and the turnigy one they are almost exactly the same apart from colour. Do many people use the leopard?
  17. Well if it would work. I want 1900kv for my buggy but everything else is back order. Got a D8 tekno converted. Running 4s with a sc8 120a gearing will be either 19/44 or 19/48
  18. Advice needed for this motor in my 1/8 e buggy http://www.hobbyking.co.uk/hobbyking/store/__17719__XK3674_B_1900KV_Brushless_Inrunner.html Cheers for any help
  19. Are you serious about getting an 8th scale motor bike to 100mph! Wow! I had one a couple years ago and stupidity got the better of me when I dropped a 9000kv dynamite motor in it. Super soft tyres couldn't help it either and I only used the stock battery God help me if I used Lipo. Hope there isn't a grain of sand on your running surface as at 100mph it will rapidly turn to parts if it goes wrong. But videos and pictures are a must on this. Good luck!
  20. Either bud. Looking for 1900-2000kv but the max diameter needs to be less than 42mm. Tekno D8 mount so anything bigger and it won't fit.
  21. Just the motor now guys cheers
