I had the car since new for about 3 years ,maybe around 12-15 tanks worth in that time ,never really had time to use it a lot but I've now decided to make time ,leaning or richening doesn't make no difference

Ok so I cleaned the tank, let it dry out.stuffed my finger over the top nozzle, blew threw a tube attached to the other nozzle and my cheeks nearly exploded ,put it back in the car with new fuel line(no fuel filter) ,put the hsn back to factory. And as soon as I got up to temp it done it again ...... Noticed there was smoke coming from the manifold seal but I spose that's to be expected when ur hitting 280 lol Should I give up on the engine and buy new?

I agree with shaanaleem92, I've had a few buggies but currently have two hyper 7's and they're great

It's got the standard fuel filter that came with the car,ill clean the fuel tank and buy some new piping,could this be the reason why I'm getting the self revving? Is there anywhere you can buy the o rings from for the fuel tank?

I richened it up but as soon as it got up to temp it started to self rev so I've gave in for today lol . I'm no expert on nitro cars but like to think I know enough but I'm fresh out of ideas

To Jasoncmor- yes from that side but not outside the carb,there from when you look in the carb(through the air filter hole) To CosyRC- ill give it a go now

Plenty of smoke when I rev the car,when its revs itself there's hardly any.took the head off before the vid,bout 1/8 of an inch of the sleeve still showing when piston gets to its highest point. As for lean/rich mixture,this shouldn't cause it to rev itself should it?when I remove the air filter and look inside,move the carb in and out I can see air bubbles on the servo side of the carb,could it be sucking air from the underneath?
