Little tip when sanding the wheel arches after cutting.
Wrap some wet and dry paper around an old spray paint can (or any aerosol can) and fix in place with a rubber band.
It makes it ssuch easier to smooth out the curves!

Hi all, digging up my front drive and have a load of bricks I need rid of.
Previous owners didn't even bed these down, they were just put on the soil and the weeds did the rest!
Reckon there's going to be around 500 by the time there all up.
I don't want a penny for these, just want rid....got to be useful for someone.
Pics on request.
Collection from Derby
cheers

The TL01B is wider than the TL01, Pathaleon wants to narrow the track not widen it.
Also, the TL series don't have shock towers, there monocoque chassis so the shock mounting points are moulded in.

Hi all, just picked up some Losi alloy oil shocks for my Mini-T, bit the rears still seem a little soft. I have Losi 20 grade oil and the shocks are on the most inboard position but I think they need stiffer springs....
I've just ordered the Losi rear spring set, but failing that, any other ideas?
1/18th is a little new to me!
Thanks guys

Well, it does state the car isn't included......but I ALWAYS read the description, and if I'm not 100% sure....I just leave it.
I've been known to take a screen grab of eBay ads in the past, incase I have problems with a transaction and the seller tries to change the ad (this HAS happened to me before!).

A lunchbox will be near impossible to keep rubber down, with a 1/8 combo in it.

Anybody else in my position?
I was saving for a Twin Hammers, then a Thunder Tiger ST4-G3, then a Wraith...then kept saving for the sake of it.
Then I thought I'd like an Honcho, then looked at Hoboa and then Hong nur. ....
THEN I saw the Yeti XL kit, and nearly went for one......now I've seen some of Thunder Tigers 2015 line up!
Something new always catch my eye!
Am I destined to save and never buy!

Hi mate, leave your wallet at the door and come on in!

Guess I've been lucky, had it two years now and still going strong.
(Plus spares are so cheap!)

Nope, FTX are certainly not "rubbish".
My Carnage runs 3s, no problem at all.
A work mate ran it straight on into a solid fire door at work and it just bounced off and kept going.
All its cost me is the hop-ups I chose to put on.
For the price, FTX are great!

Guess I'm lucky then, I run my Carnage on 2s and 3s and no real problems except a bent prop in a big crash (driver error! )

So you don't have one yet and haven't even tried one yet but you know they aren't even 'half decent', and now you 'know why they are cheap'? I suggest buying one first before coming to that conclusion. They are decent cars. Some mods improve things but that's the same with any car.
I have the FTX Edge and it's brilliant and taken loads of hammer. A very good starter car.
Got to agree, why not just run the car and enjoy it?
It will never be in the same league as better quality stuff and it will be frustrating trying to get it there.
I have bought the alloy bodied shocks, carbon towers, sway bars and fitted socket head stainless bolts throughout and thats it......probably spent
