If soldering is not for you and you want to buy the zippy compacts then you can buy these connectors

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222129940653

make sure you order from UK warehouse and there's no import fees on the lipos and the connectors won't have any either ;)

Cheers , me and soldering don't go well haha appreciate those links better prices than traxxas lipo's like I say I'm more used to my petrol toys

No you'll have to either solder new connectors on or get an adapter

Not to sound thick what connectors are on them , and did you also get them from hobby king and was there import duty .ta.

Zenoah ones don't, they're the same on a Baja, they are tight.

They are differently spaced to a CY.

No idea why, just Zenoah being Zenoah lol.

Just use normal bolts and washers, no inserts, then you can line it up and mesh it.

My G320 with a 21T pinion lined up perfectly with just normal washers and bolts :)

I'll try that cheers just make you peed off

You need a CY fan cover

Are the holes set further back?

Easiest thing to do is just line it up yourself.

Use some normal washers and bolts.

Not hard to mesh a spur and pinion :good:

I know what your saying but the back holes on chassis plate don't line up with fan cover holes on the engine

  5. Right I've just got this new zenoah G320 for my 5t with a bartlone clutch housing and bartlone clutch carrier , come to fit it and it doesn't line up with bolt holes for example if you bolt front up the back is about 2-3 mill out so all for bolts won't go in , I'm use a 20t pinion and mesh.

Any help or ideas appreciated cheers

I had to trim 2x bits of plastic off  to fit the max520170405_223114_zpsyh3kaqaf.jpgfitted here 20170405_232837_zpsf71rlgmv.jpg

The 6 will fita lot better  in the gap :good:mines sort of resting  on the edge of the rx box and is angled down towards the motor

Cheers there's not much on google about installing max6

I've got the max5 which is bigger but yours will definitely fit where the old one came from,I'm guessing their stuck down with double sided tape, you shouldn't need to cut anything.

google max6 xmaxx should bring up some pics to help.

    Thanks?

That's the one just make sure you get the twin trx  connection.

Is the max 6 a straight swap or do you have to cut any of the plastic away sorry to sound thick but I'm used to working on 1/5 petrol rc's

The esc (get a Max 6), shock shafts (Dhawks). Then just upgrade as you go/break things. I have 2 Losi Petrols, the x is a good compromise... very simple plug and go and still offers some large scale fun. Its much faster too than the average 5ive.

Cheers, those dhawks shock shafts aren't easy to get ..
