well looking at it they look to be held on by grub screws that screw down onto the cutted slots on the shaft., and might be tapered inside on one end to make it a tighter fit ..you put it on the wrong way rammed it down the tapered end and now its stuck lol thats my only explanation

nice hammy. My kit has hit the UK separate package containing a load of gubbings like the shell etc i dunno if its in the UK or not, its tracking says forwarded for export but the kit itself hit the UK today so hopefully will be with me early next week

yea been staring at sodding images for ages but its deceiving as in reality the whole car is not much longer than a 30cm ruler lol. we will see, was good practice..my soldering etc is terrible due to my tremors ..even though i enjoy doing it most of the time lol

anyone know how long the motor wires need to be on the MST FXX-D (S) ive spent a load of time braiding them rather preemptively and i have no idea how long they need to be lmao. they look nice mind

think the hobby king X car stuff is different from trackstar, but yea ive also seen a X Car kit go pop too.

Thought id start a thread for this. I havnt got the car yet but got some of the electronics.. The setup: Trackstar 13.5t motor Trackstar 80amp turbo ESC Power HD low profile digital linear servo Zippy hardcase lipo Pandora Sileighty shell Cant remember what wheels ive ordered, all hard compound, think they are CS rears and FR-F fronts, the wheels themselves cant remember the name of em lol but that post will come in time. For now though got the ESC, motor and charger, and im really impressed, really nice quality stuff, ive soldered the motor wires, i am hoping they are the right length, i definitely will leave the battery wires till last as i really dunno how long they will need to be. braided one of the wires ...aaaand i dont have any black shrink wrap .. lmao will have to buy some. will update this post when the kit arrives, i wont post 101 pictures of the build it self but ill let you know how i get on with it.

not that i know of no. its not a drift circuit by any means, used for racing primarily. however for SWICC (south west inter county championships) i will be helping the judging and have made clipping points to go on the track, (this coming weekend, i wont be running myself) will isolate part of the track to use rather than trying to judge a load of cars trying to do skids round a full track lol :|

well all my gear is on its way from RCmart so race is on i wont say about hobbyking as that will end up arriving tomorrow since its UK warehouse lol

i couldnt tell you what broke. but from what i did see it was something in the rear since he took the rear wheels off n then went back to the pits. also not 100% sure if he has the awd or RWD ..but pretty sure its the rwd one.

guy at my local club got one of these recently in RWD flavour i think either way he didnt get much use out of it during the evening n left early. looks like things were breaking left right n centre :/
