Hey guys,
What would you recommend to use for repairing and filling the cracks in my re-re sand scorcher body?
Also, I've heard that graffiti remover is good for getting the paint off without damaging the body shell, is this the best way?

No, but used to like playing "cat and mouse" on Forza 3

My dad had an old sand scorcher and kyosho scorpion when he was younger (and still has them), so was quite into rc and got me a tamiya DT01 Fighter Buggy RX when I was about 9. I used it for about a year then it was put in my wardrobe for about 3 or 4 years, before I discovered one of my friends also had a Tamiya. When the Sand Scorcher was re-released I just had to get it, and my collection has just expanded from there.

Ive had the high speed alturn one for a while, and I'm pleased with it
-
The 50p shaped one (on each end)
Actually 50p coins have 7 sides
If you strip the grub screw, you can use one of these to get the pinion gear off
-
Theres some fastrax ones on ms that look just like the tamiya rally blocks but for about half the price, I think I'll get some in my next ms order
-
glued some buggy tyres up (and stuck my fingers to the table)

short wheel base, there's an article on rc-mini.net that explains the differences between the wheelbases on the M03
-
One other thing...where can I get body shells for it, I already have a.mini shell.and don't really want the.fiat.
You could probably get one on Ebay.
If you don't like any of the tamiya ones, most of the hpi cup racer shells fit the M03m chassis (you can convert your swb M03 to this size by flipping the rear arms over)

I've got the Core RC 3ch stick radio and its pretty good. The 2ch one seems to lack most basic features though

I just thought it looked a bit big though for such a small motor in a big glider and it doesn't say anything about it in the instructions.

Hi guys,
When I was building my Hobbyking E-Fair, I noticed that the propellor was at an angle (down and to the right), and I'm not sure if it was at too much of an angle, or even if there should be no angle at all?
Got some pictures to show you, but its not that easy to see in some of them.

I've got sticks for all of my cars but my B44, and think it probably a bit easier to drive a faster car with a wheel type radio, but don't really mind TBH.
I have, however, found that I prefer analog trims and adjustments to digital trims

thanks, will hopefully get the film soon
-
Thanks
So is the only difference between a clothes iron and hobby iron the size?
-
Ok thanks
its cheap stuff to grab on most hobbys stores and-or local hobby shops.
Lol, nothings cheap at my local hobby store
Would a normal clothes iron work?

Hi Guys,
When I was assembling my E- Fair glider I managed to tear the red covering film on the wing
How do I repair this? and assuming more film needs to be bought, what should I use to get a colour match?
Thanks in advance

+1 on the alturn servos, I have the first one linked and its great
-
I have the ansmann version of this radio, its good and pretty cheap - but being into planes they might prefer a stick type radio (which always seem to be more expensive)
-
They might already have a LiPo charger if they have lots of rc aeroplane stuff
-
This Nimh seems good, and then this charger will do.
Or, you could look at LiPo batteries if you wanted slightly better performance, but Nimhs are easier to use and ideal for a beginner

I'm trying to put together a kit for a Christmas present for someone who wants to tinker and build an RC car, ... I've picked out what I think works, suits their tastes and will give them something fun to build, use recreationally and give room for improvement ... but I don't have the experience to know for sure that the below items will allow them to build a working RC car and despite reading a guide I still have no clue what pinion gear to get ... I was wondering if I might request some help?
I've got the following so far in my basket,

Cheers, will give that stuff a go.
What modelling putty do you think would work best?
And what should I use to repair cracks strongly because there's one right across the front wheel arch?
