Has anyone done a conversion to put a Shortcourse bodyshell on a 1/8 Nitro Buggy by modifying bodyposts etc?  I love my buggy handling but fancy the Shortcourse body looks.

I'm thinking of making DIY Rollcage for my D8S as I do mainly bashing as to racing & 90% of the time the bodyshell is off the buggy.

 

Any forum members got any ideas on how to go about this? As really I'm interested in protecting the  shock mounts & engine cooling fins.
