  1. Yeah just re re shell and bumper. All original apart from the wheels. I do have the gold ones though :-)
  2. That's no rerelease. It's a 1986 original with a rere bodyshell. I've had it years now. Just needed a revamp and running
  3. I've added a modern twist on a classic. New rims as I didn't want to ruin the gold ones. Been round my local track today it was really fast!!
  4. Yeah the shell isn't great quality. The ansmann one is loads better!
  5. Looks mint Oscar. Same problems as me? Looks like same spoiler issue. I solved it with tamiya reinforced tape.
  6. Now a fully running beast!!! I found the gearbox was faulty. Replaced it with one out my boomerang which ran fine. So it's now a 12t brushless beast with 2.4ghz radio so no interference and fully ballraced so hopefully no gearbox issues. Just the dreaded fragile plastics to haunt me!!
  7. My kit was a tc02evo according to the box. It actually wasn't :-/ I use short lipos that cost about
  8. I've got a new bright range rover sport shell in black if that's of any interest to anyone? Pm me! It's not been fitted to anything but looked mint on my team losi xxx-s chassis
  9. I've got two so they're breeding!!!!
  10. I bought it to replace my fragile and expensive vintage tamiyas as its pretty much unbreakeable. All I've done so far is the gearbox (my fault) and the rear hub mount. (Also my fault) I was running it very hard and fast through 3 3s lipo so the gearbox on bushings and plastic gears was always gonna break. And the hub was a massive jump which culminated in a roll over a breeze block wall (4 high) at my local track. So something had to give!! It's also faster than any of my nitro cars and my mates 1/8th hsp so I highly recommend these cars. Just mix and match brands for the most cost effective and strongest you can build. In total it owes me about
  11. Yeah it is a bit strange looking eh. Really fast for a .12 motor though :-)
  12. Used to look like this but the shell was all cracked and caked in an oily substance that smelled like curry!! Not bad for
  13. Here's my new tamiya mighty ballista nitro. It's a tns-b chassis. Only mods so far are alloy shocks and fastrax wheels as the standards are awful moon disc in orange. Yuk!!!! Bought as a mad spirit wreck. New shell and front hubs later and she's looking fine!!
  14. Here's some updated pics. Hope you all like :-) These are the ansmann shocks I got The weighted front mount and tbr bumper Carbon rear end plate New shoes!! And her beating heart!! Comments all welcomed!!
  15. I bought the ansmann racing shocks at about
  16. I did make a video shortly before I stripped the box. It was absolutely rapid and wheelied everywhere!! I guess the box got too hot on standard bushings. New box is loads smoother but clutch slips now. Any ideas? Diff is nearly locked solid and clutch nut is tight but not all way down. Still slips either way though. I will update photo as I've just noticed its on old rims!! Oops!!
  17. Hi guys. Not been on this topic for a while as I've been rebuilding my gearbox. (Idle gear) done a few upgrades to it. I've put alloy shocks on it some new fastrax rims with mini pins. The alloy 30g weighted suspension mount on the front. Carbon rear chassis full bearing kit. Alloy shock towers and a new body. Oh and the idler gear in alloy. All from www.teamc.net cost around
  18. It's a rere bumper unfortunately. I can't find an original. Also a rere factory finished shell
  19. Hi all. This is my vintage hotshot shelfer It's got the supershot upgrade suspension but with a twist. It's got adjustable alloy big bore dampers. It's got the gold rims and Schumacher tyres. At moment no electrics but I have got a etronix photon to go in it which is 12t All the screws are stainless hex bolts instead of the standard Tamiya ones. So it won't rust and they look mint! Hope you all like. All comments welcomed!!
  20. It's a t-bone racing bumper from eBay. It comes from America. It's quite expensive but has a lifetime warranty so it's not too bad. Plus it's really well built and tough so unlikely to break anyway.
  21. Yeah it's an old Tamiya tg-s it's basically a tt-01 with an engine. I've given it a metal geared servo and alloy dogbones and prop. The hpi te37 wheels with hpi mini pin tyres.
  22. Are you producing them alloy bits for purchase then? They are gorgeous!!! Plus better than the radshape ones. They bend dead easy. I'm on my second set now. Yours look more substantial. Please let me know!!!
