Still though look around on the second hand market, hell even post a wanted thread for whatever it is you decide that you want as the deal will be much better than buying a brand new RTR off the shelf car leaving you more money for upgrades etc... Be weary of stuff from ebay though as it might have been ragged. People here on the forums are more honest with their items!

I have recently purchased a Sprint 2 from Deafty so I can start drifting at the local club. I want to improve the steering angle of the sprint 2 and looking around on the internet I have found that people use parts from the sakura d3 drift chassis. Problem is I cannot find a guide or something that is clear enough to detail all the of the parts needed so I can buy them. If anyone has any experience on the procedure please shine some light on this thread. I think from what I have seen around that I need the steering assembly, front c hubs, front knuckles and wide angle CVD's although that seems like its too simple. Thanks in advance guys Not particularly interested in the aluminium parts. Prefer the plastic ones!

We are on 30 now just saying. When the inevitable arrives that you buy lipos after using your nimhs for a little while you will be thinking why was I silly enough not to listen to the lovely bunch on that forum.

They will only catch fire if you are careless or stupid with them. My first rc that I used was a T-15 Rush Evo and that was disappointing...

NiMH's are old and disappointing as explained to you earlier in the thread. Being old and much more simple means the charging circuit is a lot cheaper.

Coming "ready" is part of any RTR. Personally I find kit builds much more enjoyable plus you will remember how it goes together for when you break it. Yeah definitely more expensive than HPI but I think its obvious why you pay more when you look at the equivalent models side by side.

Looking for one of these let me know what you have guys will be a laugh at the local club for my drifter! Also looking for some CVD's for my sprint 2

That is the same as the rustler just fyi. Which is a 2WD stadium truck just like the firestorm! Personally I would go for the traxxas model as they feel sturdier from the box compared to HPI. If you go second hand you can get a brushless model for around the same or less money also.

I'm sure some lipos will change you from the troublesome nitro engines!

I put a savage 3.5 exhaust on my T-15 rush evo a few years back that was fun! sounded beastly ;P
