Ah yeh that's a bit much mate for bashing about at work lol thanks though dude
-
Well it's only for bashing about mate, what sort of price we talking about?
-
Me and a mate are after a drift car each, just for bashing around work... Doesn't need to be anything special... Ideally RTR but if price is right we can get other bits ourselves..
TT01/02 etc??
What's people got?
-
Hi guys
after something cheap ideally RTR for a friend to start as a drift banger to practise on. I was thinking TT01 or similar.
Cheers
-
Better than tamiya stuff? Was thinking of looking at a TA04...

Price wise just so people know, I'm not really sure, I know they aren't that special but also know they are getting quite thin on the ground.. So open to sensible offers

Indeed that's what I'll do I reckon drifting a 1/1 car will be easier lol
-
Thanks guys. I'm not looking at getting into RWD or hardcore drifting, just some fun in a car park or local sports centre or something...
Done enough of the real life drifting before in my old Z car after I realised I was good at it in an old e36 I had
will play with some adjustable bits and have a play...
-
Yeah good idea will have a look for a cheap one if there is such a thing
-
Got a Porsche 911 shell at moment... Will probably get an old skool shell and some deep dish wheels for it... Yeah it has lots of adjustable bits which is good! But I only have Lipo batteries and it's an older ESC so need to get some batteries to use it...

Sweet! Thanks guys.
-
yeah but think this is a 5700kv?
So just stick with that and 2s?
-
Bear with me, I am blonde!!
Just got my Firestorm flux turn up and it has the Motiv ESC/Motor set up... I have some 2s batteries to use with it so all good, I almost started looking for 3s but then read this online
http://www.hpiracing.com/en/kit/10554
In one breath when you read the first bit about the ESC/motor combo it mentions 40mph on 2s and up to 60mph on 3s with gearing upgrades, fine... But then when you go down and read about the ESC alone it says that it can only take 2s with the standard 5700 motor, but 3s when used with a 4700 motor (or something along those lines)... Just seems to contradict itself a little lol - I take it from that, I just stick with 2s right? I don't want to break it haha...
Had a little spin already and wow, I love it!!
