  1. Good afternoon Gents

Just looking for any info or advice on these. 4 off cars which my nephew doesnt use anymore sat in back of my cupboard.

250mm ish x 100mm, steering wheel works to turn wheels.

camaro has a few scraps but the others are quite pristine,(except for bent wiper)

Is there any value in these, or is it back to charity shop.

Not after starting ebay or auction, just rather they got appreciated, as quite nice if anyone has a collection for a contribution which i'll donate to the forum.

Seem too good to to drop in at charity shop and thought maybe some of the learned forum members may like them .

I appreciate forum rules state price required but i've not a clue i'm afraid before i get shouted at ....... again..

    any feedback appreciated

  2. all depends what you want it for and what surface its on, if its a grassy field then 4wd is much better, although 2wd is good fun.

Ive got a losi 5T and a baja, so i love the rugged go anywhere losi, 4 wd monster, and the baja which is ace fun drifting the back end out, i think there's  a little more skill in getting the throttle right as too much and it goes round and round. The 4wd much safer and planted.

Saying that though if you look at some of the monster ones on here with 12 S, All down to personnel choice my friend.

The spares cost debate depends how daft you are, most of the buggies, trucks etc are pretty well built these days, but if you drive anything into a lamppost at 30 mph then most things will break !!

    Good luck

  3. Nick, My other half loves this https://g.co/kgs/EXvM19

Its the man in the iron castle, quite a strange one but quite riveting, not the superhero type, but i'm sure you've been through all marvel ones, Daredevil series was a little different, but on  netflix.

Lucifer is worth a watch aswell,

Let us know if you find anything particularly stimulating fella

  4. 1111,

The forums are here to assist and advise, the members on here are always well informed and helpful, everyone has an opinion, not always black or white. There are some amazing discussions and threads on here from some extremely experienced and knowledgeable personnel.

This thread seems like your just shouting at everyone about a servo.

One of the only things that is free in todays mad world is manners, ask father Christmas for a bag full,

  5. Blitzer ordered from Jadlam Toys and models..

    Wont be doing it again

Just a note for anyone, they tell lies about the delivery.

Ordered Thursday 2.39 pm, paid 1 working day delivery extra charge.

Email received Friday to confirm item had shipped.

Chased up yesterday as no tracking ID provided to be told that it was awaiting collection from DPD and should arrive today.

Ordered Thursday afternoon, arriving Tuesday... allegedly not what i call 1 working day, especially when you can order from amazon at 2pm and it arrives next day at 10 am.

  6. thanks chaps,

scorcher a lot more  money than the bugs, and apart from a plastic coating covering the body and a die cast front end and rear, same motor esc

scorcher bit more versatile, could only pootle about on the road or car park really, and how many times will she smash into the kerb in the first 5 minutes......

shes looking at all sorts now, thanks gents, i'll keep you posted, she's  got 2 days to decide...…

  7. Afternoon Gents,

Currently looking for a VW beetle which i can build with my daughter (12), currently own baja 5b, 2 losi 5T's gassers, but too noisy really.

I've found the Tamiya model Tamiya 300058572 1: 10 RC Volkswagen Beetle, which if bought with all the battery, servo is approx £ 200.00 .

Has anyone any other options or ideas as i'm open to a better quality vehicle if available as long as it has the VW classic shell,

Is this the only option (except for the rally type, (same model)  or has anyone any ideas on possibly different better ideas please, looking for a kit and all the bits and pieces.

    many thanks in advance

  8. You could get a used baja with hop ups for that money at the minute, unless you really prefer brand new. drove me mad tinkling along at 30 % then 50% then 30% throttle for 2 hrs to run it in.

Really wanted to give it the berries..:)

got 3 of these, cant fault them, never let me down, enough bits and bobs to set end points, servos etc. love em, got a nice futaba and it was 3-4 times the cost, no different except a little better build quality but performance wise, could nt tell them apart, unless im just rubbish.......
