  1. After the death of my standard velineon esc from the merv I'm looking for a more substantial replacement but still looking to use the 380 motor, something like the castle sidewinder esc or the larger velineon esc would be ideal. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated, thanks.

Hi it's only 50w per channel so will take over an hour for your 3's. I would buy either a single higher wattage one and use charging board or buy 2 single ones. Do you already have a psu?  https://www.robotbirds.co.uk/default/chargers-power-supply-leads/chargers/b6-10amp-200w-super-multi-charger.html  if not  http://www.modelsport.co.uk/overlander-rc6-vsp-80watt-7a-output-ac-dc-charger-with-fan/rc-car-products/379060  the best dual charher is hyperion but will cost 100s there are also some turnigy dual chargers on hobby king.

Your right mate iv just had a look, for an extra £20 you can get the same charger but its a dual 120w powered charger. I will have to buy a couple of charging boards.

  3. hello everyone, after digging the Merv out of the garage I'm now in the market for a new lipo charger after selling my overland rc 65. Im just after some advice on this one iv seen on amazon. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Keenstone®-UP100AC-Balancing-Battery-Multi-Chemistry/dp/B01HBBQE4Q/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1472153259&sr=8-2&keywords=lipo+charger+120w

Any advice would be ideal on this charger, or opinions on a suitable alternative for around the same price. Looking at charging small 2/3s lips batteries for the MERV. This one has the ability to charge 2 different batteries at a time which would allow me to charge a pair of 2 and 3s lipos? many thanks

Hi mate, does it come boxed with the grips and bind plug or anything? Are you able to get more pictures? Thanks, Dan.

  5. Hello everyone. Im after some advice as I'm pretty new to the touring on road side of things. Im after a 1/10 touring car for general bashing and casual racing, for my application would shaft driven be better as I don't know much about the durability of belt driven cars on tarmac and areas with some small bits of debris. Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated. I don't mind if it is a roller or in kit form. Thanks

  6. Hello everyone, haven't been on here in ages, i bought a used Xray t3 roller about 2 years ago and after running it for about 2 weeks it has just sat in the garage, I'm thinking about getting it running as one of my mates at work has just got into the hobby. I wanted to know if parts are readily available for this car, in the very brief period of running the front drive shafts come loose and chewed up the housing. Considering i need 2 front driveshafts would it be worth trying to find another roller with the parts that i need? i think iv seen the drive shafts that i need but they are
