designed a new body for bumble bee V3, pictures to follow
-
Did you say it wasn't as smooth as the other ones if so it sounds to me like the rotor isn't centered properly. I had this with my motor, turns out the the end bell cap on the shaft side had not been tightend down correctly and was causing the rotor to touch the windings slightly, if I were you I would take the end bell cap off and tighten the screws down evenly and see if it makes a difference. I usually go to opposite corners tightening the screws down a little bit at a time.

it wasn't ran through optical speed traps, that run was just for the turnigy 5000 using there gps not optical speed traps

car is almost out of the design phase and should be going into the part making stage at the end of august, a few things have changed on the car like the steering set up and the axle setup but changing these things have saved me a lot of money and time
-
yeah the senna challenge is quite challenging but after 40 attempts i got a time of 1:06.63 with a controller
-
yeah its an awesome shell keeps the car glued to the ground and once it gets going it goes arrow straight, but i think they stopped making them know.
-
what shell is that?
HPI stiletto v12

car is finished before the event which is a weird one for me as its usually a rush to finish the car
-
i've seen someone run this in a rustler on 6s, all i can say is the car was no more after the esc caught fire
-
Yeah i took inspiration from bez's build and made it into a drag car/ streamliner although that's on a different drawing
-
yes i have thought of that idea but i prefer to make my own one as i can make it to the spec i need
-
here is what the car is basically going to look like from now on
-
just thought i would let you guys now that i might be changing the car to a 2wd design with a solid rear axle as i think i am going to have some problems with running a stretched mi4, this is why designing a car can take so long back to sketch up it is

been looking at the best kv to run and i've decided that it will be 1644kv, here is a what happened when i put it into the speed calculator with the setup im going to run. just got to finalize a few things with the setup and i should be set.

by the looks of things it looks like an xray t1

re-soldered my xl2 with shorter wires, turns out all i needed was a good iron and some good solder.

Cheers for the kind words guys I've been sat in school making prototype parts for the car over the past 2weeks and am almost ready to cut them out on a CNC machine, good thing It won't cost me anything lol
