packed the speed car up and put it in shed in a locked cabinet, decided to have a break from RC for the moment to help me focus on my GCSE's and my project that i have been thinking about for a good 2 years so hopefully you might see what that is in the future

i am the same i basically wear shorts and a T- shirt all year round unless i am forced to wear jeans if we are going out some were and i hate jeans as i don't find them comfortable

might be getting my self a vantage soon as i have missed my one ever since i crashed it on 6s, decided that im going to buy some foam tyres and just put my xl2 and 2400kv motor in it on 2s and maybe 4s

fitted the esc today, fits perfect.

first thing that need to be done to the car is i need to make it wider by 10mm to fit the xl2 esc in it, this isn't a hard job at all due the how simple the car design is, all i have to do is get some spacers and place them on the insides of the rails where it meets the hex bar and the car is wider by 10mm lol. next step is to buy a better radio, this was suggested by BEZ as he had turned the servo speed down on his car at it was so much more controllable, this is why  i am switching to a futaba 4pl as it lets you turn the servo speed down and should stop me from over correcting like i was with the mi4. All i have to do now is get used to now is 2wd dragster which shouldn't be to hard so that is why i am going to start off on 4s just to get used to the feel of it and limit the throttle to 50% so i can get used to it.

tbh i think you esc might be alright but getting a bigger one wont hurt but i had to mount my one on the top deck as it wont fit i the usual space and you cant fit the body shell on either.  also a good idea to upgrade to a better lipo.

i hit 62 with my ftx vantage, setup was xerun 150a esc sirius 4600kv motor and 3s, stock gearing and standard tires 

 

best thing to do is take a long run up and do 1 or 2 runs at a time
