i'm writing this in the hope that someone else has suffered the same frustration and might be able to point me in the right direction. I am no expert! but I have spent the last 2 years tuning nitro cars general bashing and fixing nitro cars/trucks for mates so I know how to tune a carb etc. My problem is I bought an S28 about a month ago and perhaps stupidly i looked at the carb settings and they looked way out! the LSN was nearly all the way in and the hsn pretty much flush? so before running it I went back to base settings which is 2.5 turns out on the hsn and 6.5 out on lsn. I got it running on these settings however it runs extremely hot and drips fuel out the exhaust no matter how lean i go on the hsn. so i cut the engine before it gets too hot as i dont want to do any damage. i also noticed bubbles in the fuel line leading to the carb? i've never noticed this on other trucks? ive checked the tank seals and fuel pipe connections and they are all airtight. HELP!!!!! i'm dying to run this truck as i heard they are quite solid but i'm nearly at the point of taking a hammer to it. i'm using a No.6 plug and 20% opitfuel however because it is chucking out so much fuel it keeps popping the plugs.
