  1. Dont fancy another X1CR do you?
  2. Well for now i need to get a new front arm set for the truggy. First run out in it i decided to run it full-steam into a park bench off the side of a skate ramp. Eventually i might get another brushless combo. For now though i'm happy enough having 1 buggy and 1 truggy running.
  3. Took the one out the X1CR i converted originally. Its a LRP IX8 ESC with LRP Dynamic8 motor.
  4. From me, 3 tanks. The guy who had the truggy before me said he had just finished running it in. Its pretty tight at the top still. If you're local at all feel free to come round and check it out?
  5. Added a bunch of new stuff to the first post. Will add more as i get photos of everything
  6. Having a bit of a clearout after converting to brushless. I'll be adding more so keep checking back! 1/8 buggy wheels with tyres, 17mm hex's -
  7. Sorry for confusing you. Didnt realise there was such a thing as LX1. Outside of the X1CR and X1CRT, i know nothing about the Hong Nor range Looks like a nice buggy anyway.
  8. Tom - these are the bits that came with it for the brake linkage. Looks like most, if not all, of it is there:
  9. TOM - Center diff is still on the car, its used for the electric conversion. Or did you mean something else? Moonwolf - What buggy is it? Is it an LX2? Love the colour on that. Did you spray the parts that colour or got them from somewhere like that?
  10. Just got home and had a check to see whats there. The guy included all the original nitro bits which are no use to me, but any one know what they're worth? Tank, brakes, throttle linkage. Some spur gears (Blue plastic.. wtf?), 7 full sets of tyres and 1 set already on the buggy, some pinions and some other plastics. In terms of pinions there's 1 of each 12t-17t and then 4x 26t pinions. Would anyone even run that high? Seems crazy to me, unless with a smaller spur. Quick pic of the buggy, excuse the dirt/grass, it was already dirty but i couldn't help take it for a spin at lunch and made it worse haha:
  11. New buggy turned up today Apart from being covered in dirt, it's awesome. Has big bore shocks too. Still need to check exactly what spares are with it when I'm home, but there are at least 9pinions there too. Will get pics up later when its clean
  12. Where are you guys getting your pinions from? They seem pretty expensive at around
  13. No temp gun as of yet, barely warm to the touch though so that's a good sign i guess. I'll grab one on payday - surprised how cheap they are on eBay. ST TOM - Nope, no bigger pinions yet unfortunately. The new buggy should turn up tomorrow so if that has any bigger pinions with it i'll get some more pics for you. If not hopefully GeorgeWils can confirm when his pinions arrive.
