  1. Honestly, I loved it and have had a great laugh with it. I've owned 4 of them, and now i just have this and an X1CRT left. I just don't get the time anymore so I'm clearing out all my RC stuff slowly, there's just too much to list individually which is why I'm trying to sell it all together like this. You could always buy the lot off me ;-) I'm up that way on the weekend so could even deliver it to you haha.
  2. I've decided to sell my brushless converted Hong Nor X1CR Pro as it just isn't getting used anymore. It has all the standard pro parts you'd expect (Inc big bore shocks, carbon etc). I'm including everything you need to run it and even parts to fix it. Asking
  3. Yeah i can do 50 + P&P (Unless you want to collect?)
  4. BUMP. Added DX3R and SR3100 combo to the first post
  5. The only way i can do that is if i drop postage to 2nd class. Are you happy to do that?
  6. Hex's are fine, here's a pic just for your peace of mind: I can do
  7. Got a bunch of spares when i bought my last hong nor buggy, it's been a year now and they've just been sat in storage so i'm beginning to clear out. If you want any more pics just ask. Prices do NOT include postage. Collection from Luton or i'm happy to arrange postage at your own cost. DX3R & SR3100. DX3R has some cosmetic damage as can be seen from the pics but works fine. Receiver has a small bit of plastic missing from the bottom.
  8. Ive already ordered another set so no worries there, thanks though. Just getting a bit annoyed with it as it seems to be the thing that always breaks with today being the third time. The buggy was flying much higher off the ramp and landing badly, cartwheeling and everything and came out fine every time. Truggy just doesnt seem to hold up to the same abuse. Maybe its the longer arms as Barny says. Either that or I'm horribly unlucky with it.
  9. Replaced the hinge pins for new ones that bolt on rather than those stupid circlips so i know it's not those. Coming to the point where i feel like just getting rid and sticking with the buggy tbh. That shell looks awesome. How are you doing it? Is it vacuformed?
  10. Took my X1CRT out and broke an front arm today This is the 3rd time its happened. I bash the CR buggy MUCH harder and never had any problems. Anyone know if they just aren't up to being jumped etc as much?
  11. Sounds like a good laugh. Will have to see if I can make it next week.
  12. Not a clue about the time, last time I went was about a year ago when I first got my RC car. Since then I've converted to brushless and mostly just bash about at lunchtimes with a guy from work. When I've been at the shop they're always telling me to go up there though so I assume they still run it. 9 cars?! That's both awesome and mad haha. Thanks for the offer, but not doing anything major tonight - just stripping out some DAB wiring and modules to sell on. Whereabouts are you exactly? PM me if you'd prefer, I'm in hockwell ring ( )
  13. Looks like its coming along nicely. Could do with a decent shell myself. You planning on doing a few to sell when you finish it? Or just want it as a one-off for yourself?
  14. Yeah sundon. Can't do this evening, having to work on my 1:1 car :-( give em a call if you wanna head down there yourself, they're a friendly enough bunch :-p
  15. I'm in Luton The local model shop does a meet up at the retail park in gipsy lane every Wednesday I think - Not been in a long time but used to be a laugh.
  16. Anyone ordered from SMD before? Placed an order on the 27th and it's still "Processing"

Might be better off ordering through one of the shops they deal with, such as Modelsport.

I don't think they deal with orders directly, but pass them on to one of their retailers that has stock. Presumably, they have not found one yet.

The reason i ordered from them is because they're one of only two places i could see with the parts i wanted. The other being a guy on eBay and in Taiwan. Ill give em a call tomorrow to see whats going on. Thanks guys :)

  17. What are you measuring speed with? I need to give a speed run a go and see what I'm getting.
  18. Went out with a mate to bash about for a bit last weekend. Few low speed jumps and some tumbles: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNT9PKEszmA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F36oLz3zbLA These things really can take a beating, i did some stupid jumps a few times and each time it survived
  19. Shaun which bits do you have and which bits do you need? Is it just the front center diff mount you need now? Or have you not got a spur either?
  20. Mines on charge ready for a run tomorrow. Stuck a 17t in it, hopefully that should help things along What are you guys measuring your speeds with? I dont fancy strapping my phone to the car... Especially with my driving Tom - I'd say you'd be looking at around 80 if its in good condition, the buggies don't seem to sell very well for some reason
  21. SMD do a lot of the bits: http://www.smddirect.co.uk/parts-328/spare-parts-337/hong-nor-340/x1x-crt-rtr-370/index-all Engine mount: http://www.smddirect.co.uk/xt-24-engine-mount-810 Other than that, there a few eBayers like rc-willpower: http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/rc-willpower
  22. With my X1CRT I used the absima kit from Modelsport for the X1CR: http://www.modelsport.co.uk/absima-brushless-conversion-kit-for-hong-nor/rc-car-products/369633 And just swapped the center diff and mounting for one from a X1CR. Pretty sure the truggy diff needs swapping anyway because its something ridiculously high like 62t
