yup

Would have been nice to see this available 1st on the forum is all.
-
A fella at my club has the sct. Runs good and handles well. noticeably bigger too and only 15 euro more than a q32. would make a decent gift.
-
U got a link for the chassis?
-
Yeah the basher concept of the Sworkz aint for me either. The truggy however I am considering for racing. But for only a handful of outoings in summer my money may be better spent elsewhere.
-
Might be worth mentioning the new S-Workz MT here.
Drove the brand new Etruggy last weekend which was very good. They really have upped their game in the last 18 months.
though It appears nothing more than a short chassis truggy if even that .

Tekno are currently restocking, give it 1-2 months. Or buy in Germany

I made a template up and marked the holes with a fine permanent marker if I recall. Pretty sure I used a hand held drill rather than a press but I also tapped a thread into the mounting holes so naturally i made a smaller hole then needed for the screws.
I did this several years back, but has held up just fine. The hardest thing for me was actually getting the servo in its correct place, think i even glued on the servo horn.

10a board from hk but 2s only. no link sorry but just measure up and check the specs from their site
-
Ok so.
I originally used this 1230 motor but just recently installed this 1220 one
Heres some useful info for you
Sadly I can no longer track down what servo I used but the above link should give you the info u need.
I hope you are aware u will need to basically cut open the top deck so the electrics fit. Some dremel work involved but not to complicated.
The motor mount needs new holes drilled as the motors I linked have different mounting holes.
As for lipos: These are a perfect fit. https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-nano-tech-300mah-2s-35-70c-lipo-pack-e-flite-eflb2002s25-micro-series-compatible.html
or theres a 40-90c version for a few cents more but Hk website is paying up on me You'll need micro jst connectors.
Hope that helps a little.
-
hobbyking do 2. u need to mod the motor mount though. will link later. I converted mine a couple of years back. a new servo also needs modding.
need 2 b on my linky pc 2 post links sry.

ask for at least an ABEC 3 rating for your bearings. Ceramic balls don't like vibrations fyi.

emulsion shocks me thinks.

Cheers for the vid
Time to get mine running me thinks.
Going with the lc racing 4500kv motor and might even throw in the longer LC truggy can later as theres room
For now gonna borrow a HW 60w esc from myself and will get one of those poo ones off the bay later.
took Guns's comment on te fitting servo from HK as gospel and was a righteous fit though imo it needs a side wall plate brace made up (will do one laters)
Shocks, leccy install and some paint I spose is all thats left for now.
Got a question though... Has anyone found a suitable source for 32 pitch pinions with 3.175mm bore?

How many turns?

Gear diff for sure.
Less maintenance, easier and far more reliable. Alternatively get the carbide balls for ya ball diff.
If you have bookface then https://www.facebook.com/groups/SerpentSpyderSC/
For local spares. Have a word to Tony
They are the Eu supplier from germany.
sadly I just sold 3 diffs last week and have only my personal spare. Sry dude but Ihadn't seen this thread for a few weeks
What motor are you running?
