  1. Need some advice..... I have a Nosram 3.5t brushless 9000kv can I installl it in the Hyper st. Also have a 10t 3000kv brushless.... Which is the better option... Reason for conversuon is I keep breaking pullstarts. Any help with gear ratios will help.

The motors mention are ideal for 1/10 models not 1/8

These are what need to using in 1/8 models alongside with a 150a esc

  2. Noj I guess your living in a wonderland mate as there is absolutely no place to drive our RCS in London without getting kicked off or a warning from forest and or park rangers. Its easy for the people living outside bigger cities or London as there are so many open green spaces to have fun with your rcs hence you would go unnoticeable.

Warnings is because of noise mostly, not actual model/s.

  3. 8S for a 1/8 buggy?  Hugely overkill.  6S is insanely quick in a 1/8, even a heavier older one.

Generally the hobbywing 150a/~2000kv combo is recommended for 6S if not on a tight budget and you want the power.  Personally have run all 4 of mine on 4S, inc 2300kv on 19/46 gearing on a Hyper - more than enough speed.

8s is just model name not input voltage

toros last 150a esc had issue with filmware n set up if remember right, however this 8s model could be improved? only way to know is purchase an try it, its cheap to experiment with.

  4. Hi Guys

Just an update on this, turns out the card isn't compatible with the 120a or the 150a, even though it was marketed as been. the card did work on a 60a. Does anyone know which card is best for the 150a gen 2 trackstar esc. or even how to program with card, everything is ok, apart from there is no reverse.

    Thank you

    Mark

Which card brought? As is esc uses lcd box

  5. only thing is your restricted to 2 pole motors only with that esc

If run in sensored mode then yes.

    Otherwise happily runs any poles.

I was able to trail run hk150, ezrun 150, quick 150, mmm, tekin rx8 in my buggy all have different feel to thottle/finger.
