  5. well it sure feels like it here anyway!! so, the time of year has come, wet cold and muddy, what is your prefs to complete waterproofing? i was checking out some tube vids and there was some great looking stuff called acf 50, this stuff is used for all kinds of weather/waterproofing and its a spray so very easy to use, one guy just sprayed his mini crawler then ran it around in the sink!! next candidate could be the plasticdip, seems like a good idea, although im a bit worried of it creeping into gears etc and clogging when wet. next a great one i thought, simple epoxy resin, even on esc,s, mix it up, then spread all over circuit boards, the epoxy doesnt conduct electric, and so seals the complete circuit board, completely waterproof, just dont use on servos and moving parts ok,lol. cheers mark
  6. Great, cheers, i can find a revo for 250 with a lot of hop ups on it just needs batterys, is that a good deal or stick with the rs2! But i do like the look of the rs2 and its a great price,
  7. hey guys, i need a car!! its going to be used on rough ground, pebbly dry riverbeds, ok wet sometimes, and woods, so quite a few bumps, loose ground, didnt want to spend loads as i just bought a crawler, so
  8. cant help, but why you should know all.. . i had an old go that was on my ar parrot, i think it may be in the loft......time for a dig out me thinks. its a shame i cant find a good second hand night crawler, then i could spend more on goodies ....good job my better half dont read these...
  9. Yea ill prob justgo for the night crawler, if at a later date i do some comp ill upgrade as needed i think, personally im not a lover of the AX-10 just dont like its looks, and the losi allways seems more capable on the rocks, most likely just personal, but hey we all have our prefs right. Cheers for the input guys, cant wait for it to turn up, whats a good onboard camera that can take video? One of the go- pro ?
  10. Brilliant, thanks a lot gaz, yea i was going brushless straight away, and now i dont need to ask which motor cheers. and better stearing linkages etc. Ill be ordering mine on monday. 11. Hi guys, been into rc for ages but going for my first crawler, and looking for some advice, as not done the crawling before. I was originally going for a night crawler, and still very happy with that choice, but what is the dig on the comp version, and are they the same cars, just the comp has extra stuff on it? I doubt if i will ever go into comp, but i like to get good stuff, and or upgrade and it sounds like the comp dig thing is some kind of brake so the car will sit where its put on a slope and not run back when stoped. Or is this an upgrade to the original n.c. And why isnt the dig on the original night crawler if its a better thing? Sorry for all the questions, and thanks for your help
  12. hi guys, im after a lossi night crawler, full set, radio car etc, ready to run, prefer just standard out the box, but happy for a good modded one if price is right, im in east devon so if near i could pick up. cheers all
