Mate, I was stoked to make it. Could have cried when I couldn't start for the line

  8. And a HUGE +1 from us too! Really really great welcome. The guys who had my ST stripped for me wwhile I was marshalling (diff failure in heats) were beyond helpful. Never been to a club like it. Was my first ever days racing, and it will not be my last. Will definitely be back! Thank you all!!!!!!! And big kudos for Mugen Mark for dragging us down. Cheers Rob and Maria
  9. Breakfast then load the car... Swindon here we come!

  10. Heli's AND truggies... Perfect RC day! Now to clean it for Swindon tomorrow :D

  11. Gymbal

    decent heli

What sort of size/scale you looking for mate?
  12. Ah yes, the downwash, forgot that! It's somewhere around the width of the rotor plus a bit for a very rough calculation Yes mate they should. Give heliguy a ring they're really good
  13. No heli will hover without input. Due to tail rotors any heli will we pushed left on takeoff. If you can't correct it with cyclic then you have a problem. Stay close to the ground, get used to where it wants to take off on the tthrottle, then start doing little hovers and build your cconfidence And get the f eel for how she hovers. Check the hheliguy forum for sspecific advise. Oh, and don't know about the atom, but the msR has an offcentre shaft/head
  14. Lol, nor can I Been running on 16% till now, was thinking of going 20%. But.... Guess I could go to 25 Just puuting her back together I realize I have no gearbox grease. And what I do have is way too thin. Looks like a trawl round the LHS tomorrow!
  15. Whatever you buy, check the spares backup. As J said, you will not beat Elite for spares availability (or beatability ) *edit* In fact I'm toying with selling my mSR if you're interested animal
  16. What percentages of byrons are available mate? (I know you said somewhere on here, but buggered if I can find it now). Cheers dude
  17. Have we twisted your arm dude? Me and thunder tigress are going, possibly savage 4.6 basher too.
  18. He is great for tools and sundries. Heavily into heli's so leans more that way on spares. Some say he's expensive, which isn't strictly true. Everything is sold at RRP, so can appear more than online. Factor in postage and you'll probably find he's comparable. Always had what I wanted, but I don't go for spares. HTH Rob
  19. T9 torx drivers are perfect for teasing out a stripped head on an M3 hex... :D

  20. Blinder mate! You must be stoked! Look forward to seeing that one iin action!
  21. I just found I can talk to my tablet and it types it to save my fingers. o m f g!!!!!

  22. I really wanna make this one after missing the last. Hopefully the beast will be ready after the refit Where are you Hatzy? Could you get anywhere near Bristol? Might be able to help with lift maybe
  23. Help! I am working for a bunch of 'gentlemens appendages'... Anyone know of jobs going in the Bristol area?

  24. The atom wont bind to spekky. It is a little heli from the far east (from memory) that heliguy have imported and rebranded. I was a regular on heliguy when they were looking at branding it. By all accounts they are great little fliers. Seem to give the mSR a run for the money.
