  1. Im looking at buying a Losi Night crawler RTC. It doesn't come with battries and a charger What battery do i need for the crawler? (sorry if it sounds a stupid question but its been years sinch i bought a Rc Car) Not doing comps so quality is not so important. What about charging the battery? When i was younger it use to take all night to charge? Is it the same now or can you charge them much faster? If so what sort of charger would i need? Also how long does a battery last in a crawler? RC has come on a long way since i was younger and im a bit lost in all!! Thanks for any help you can give me. Matt
  2. Im looking to buy my first crawler for a it of fun around the house and garden. There are quite a few on the market at the moment and dont have a clue which to buy? Lets just say i have two budgets of under £175 and under £250. What would i expect to get for these price crawlers? I dont want a mini crawler but looking at the scale of 1/10th and 1/8th Have had a look at this too. Any good? Also what different body's can i get for the crawlers? HSP 1/8th Electric Radio Controlled Rock Crawler Sorry for all the questions but need to learn fast. Thanks everyone. Matt
  3. Im looking to buy a new Nitro on road car. Trouble is i was to use it for 2 purposes. I want to be able to use the chassis for drifting and Road. Wont be racing just using for fun but will use race tracks. I know You can change tyres and body shells for the 2 different setups. Needs to be 4 wheel drive and must come with radio gear. So then what chassis will do the job? Needs to be reasonably priced as its just a bit of fun. Also is there info you can give me to set chassis up for both purposes. Thanks for your time Matt
  4. Was good fun today. Gave the firestorm a good thrashing untill the rear shock decided to depart from the car during a jump. Never did find that spring lol. Nice to meet you guys and the location was superb.
  5. I have re descovered the world of RC. I have bought: RC mini Heli to learn the art of flying them RC Plane RC nitro firestorm Had up the loft an old mardave ministock and a thunderdragon. The nitro really stunning but a little un practical due to noise problems. When i was younger i had battery rc cars but was put off because of the charging times. There seems to be alot of change now with lipo batteries and new motors which confuse me alot. What are the costs of these new batteries and motors and whats the differences between the old and new stuff? Im now looking for a new toy to use in the garden with the kids. Crawlers could be the answer as they can be used for many area's. Im not interested in competing just using for fun. I dont have radio gear so it must include it in the package. Whats out there? I really dont have a clue!!! Lol i think i just like buying new toys, propper midlife crisis.
  6. Should be there around 12.30. I will be the one with a nitro firestorm, wife, 3 year old girl and a baby boy lol
