BEER
in The Lounge
I go off beer for ages, especially when on a diet (like now!)
Just now, i'll have maybe a wine at night, maybe two... Probably 'More than recommended', but hey-ho, i'm not particularly overweight and I don't take illegal drugs
-
Same as here. Don't get online toooo much, though.
-
any updates
I just started a countdown to holidays so want to shed some lbs...
14st 2lbs as of Sunday 4th Jan.
-
Really need to get this in a wide open space
-
My wee Border Terrier barks at my RC too
They're just trying to ward off a perceived threat... the owner should have been thankful!
-
Genius

GTA 5 on the PS4 is pretty amazing.
The games 3 or 4 years down the line will be something to look forward to
-
Grinds my gears
Hence why I don't do that sort of thing (any more)
Maybe if I had the money beforehand, but once bitten and all that.
-
Chilling indoors mostly, too much food and drink, hopefully not too many visitors
And a play outside with my present if the wind stays down. (LaTrax Alias)

You get these free from the manufacturers, mate - just visit their sites. Missus has had a couple delivered.
-
Sorry mate, don't have these available, but have both... definitely go for GTA if you have the choice... quite remarkable game!
-
Easy one for me this year...'I usually have to 'surprise' her (sigh).
She wanted an Apple iPad mini, so that's what she got.
-
A LaTrax Alias quadcopter and camera
-
I have a Zippo hand warmer... pretty decent heat off them and for a reasonable time.
Can be hit-or-miss to get started, though.
-
It's the one specifically for the LaTrax Alias:

I'll update the thread on 25th December
Missus has got me one for Christmas, with the compatible camera
-
If you've got no idea of how hot it got, no one can really tell you what damage was done. "Mega hot" isn't really very accurate.
Hotter than 'super-duper hot', though

Openly admit I'm a COD fanboy.... Yeah I agree with most of the comments above..... Same same same, new maps, new guns, improved graphics. I play it because I enjoy it. AW is up there IMO as almost the best COD multiplayer there is. Black Ops 2 taking that title. Followed by AW, MW2, MW3, and MW with Black Ops and then somewhere in its lowly state of mind. Ghosts. But Ghosts did have Extinction was had me hooked. Totally hooked. (The classic COD games, do not interest me)

Classic as in WW2 era? I agree with that. Mind you, it'd be interesting to see how the PS4 could render that era.
I've had every COD game since COD3. With the exception of COD4 MW, I've sold them all shortly after.
Still play COD4 online occasionally, 7 years on!
-
I'm enjoying it... it's a big departure, but I've yet to see campers, or many snipers for that matter.
-
I've stopped playing It on PS3 for now... PS4 COD AW bundle is on its way
-
Hmm... some take this all more seriously than others
It's just a game to me... Play, don't play, each to their own!

A 1kg slab of Dairy Milk a few Christmases ago... eaten over an hour or so.

Aah, memories of wrecking my older brother's Tamiya Grasshopper on Portrush's fine beaches
Well, he shouldn't have left it with me for two weeks!
