yeh i trust you but just seems a waste of money just for some screws im very good with rc's im pretty sure if i got what i needed you would be able to tell me how to do it?

ok m8 cheers its gonna be even worse when i upgrade it from a 2350 to a hp with a blur esc i got cheap and and the motor i got off you and also managed to drill out the pinion screw completely wrecked the tiny screw but the pinion is fine

after some snooping around on some other sites it looks like this is a MASSIVE weak point on the savage as Nitroholic said he has a way not to bend screws anymore i would love to know what it is

allways run with the shell on that scrapoe happened when i first got it. this has happened only recently. and that scrape looks worse than it is as its so zoomed in

just gave my flux a clean and noticed that the top shock screws were VERY bent is there anything i can do to stop this happening again

well the last thing you want to do is fully lock it down that is a disaster waiting to happen but tighten then 1/2 to 2 turns out i set it to in between that so no damage to gears in the year i had it no problems and you can only tighten it fully down if you have flux as it has blulletproof diffs and HD gears so no chance of breaking anything on my flux

i included the standard one with it m8 swap it over if you want but never had any problems with it. just look at the savage SS and the XL they come with a Steel Spur gear and you wont have any problems if the slipper clutch is loose enough

hi m8 i have a hpi RS4 Evo that i dont use much anymore it has a couple of alloy hop ups runs great it has a airfilter but not on there atm here are some pics it comes with a roto start and battery and charger

No they are only for bigbore shocks not normal ones that go on yours and why do you need spacers for m8?

No they get slightly warm but NEVER to hot to touch and I mean only very slightly warm and yes I will raise the LVC to 3.4 and cheers Neil your lipo topic helped me alot and yes I might charge them at lower rate coz I charge them at 5a as they are 5300nihm

Na i ALWAYS babysit my lipos and the cut off is set to 8.4 so no overcharging

Ok thanks very much for your replies Much appreciated and I will look into getting a fusion and it's was only that happened once so I'll run the flux hp for 15mins then try charge again

I have my LVC set to 3.2 as u have a castle link USB and always balance charge but it did it on both batteries could it of been my charger?

If it's only front wheel drive it's the screw that holds the back drive cup turn it over and look if the back drive cup has the set screw in there it happened to me and I'm going with AJ I think it's the set screw
