That Escort is amazing, brilliant build
For the headlights, I don't know how they measure up (and I know that grafting things into lexan is a mission) but couldn't you use something like this?

Would need careful research and measuring but sure it will be possible. May also be something on Shapeways, it's a mine of scale detail parts these days
The light moulds are hard plastic, i think if those you linked are the right size i could fit them and paint em white or something

Yea i see what you mean now. Hmm
-
Hmm. This is my 1st attempt at a scale looking rc so im not sure how id fix that

Fantastic.
So good, you start noticing things - sorry.
Headlamps look not quite right.

Hyper 7 may be best then. Wanna talk in pm?
-
Do you plan to run on said track?
-
Which one interests you and idealy budget?
hyper 7 has a novarossi .21 race engine and a spyder diff to be fitted and bump start
traxxas rustler is a 2.5 with rpm arms and has a fair few new parts on it and has optional alloy beadlock wheels
the tomohawk was bought pre owned off modelsport that they had repaird, we only ran it once and found it too fast for my son so..
im open on trades but ive been scammed before as you were so i do hesitate and im only in ipswitch once a year for banger racing.
-
I been looking at getting rid of some of my nitros, hyper 7, thunder tiger tomohawk st, traxxas rustler with rpm arms , maybe few more..

id be interested in everything minus the lipo's if big gaz wants them? price minus lipos?
-
aslong as theres no signs ill just tell the people ok and ill carry on, wont be rude or nothing and let them call the police or whoever they contact. to me aslong as i dont use there football pitch/cricket pitch and stay to the longer field area i cant see im doing rong. dont see me purposefully walking upto them and moaning about the dog crap they dont pickup(assuming they dont like they assume im gonna cause damage with my rc) id even be happy to demonstrate the kill switch for em.

where we were there was no body around and if we saw a dog we brung the cars in and let the dogs carry on. you just get some people that are high n mighty.

didnt the BRCA use to offer insurance for running your rc car anywhere but on public roads etc? i was out using my car today and had a dog walker tell me i shouldnt be using my dbxl in the park (public recreation ground) and theres no signs anywhere as we checked.

Yes, but there's several ones available. https://rc-car-online.de/en/products/losi_los350000-los350000-body-panels-clear-complete-for-dbxl.html is clear without the holes. There's other bodies available though. I put the RedXrc body on mine. Grafil bodies also fit.
dont suppose you have a pic of the redxrc body and a link do you?
-
ill be glad to not have the issues like with nitro, 1st upgrades to look at i think may be exhaust and clutch carrier? what exhaust is good with the 23cc engine?
-

Not got one for sale but very budget friendly option
Turnigy 2wd Sct roller £55 ish new
I thought they'd be aweful at that price but got one in a swap and it's been awesome taken it over massive ramps and given it some proper stick as I'll be buying a new one and using old one for parts so not worried about breaking it and so far all I've broken is spur gear which I replaced for a traxxas one
you have a link to that?
