  1. so to update this, my Truggy is all back together now and running great! its not got the pull start eliminator back plate, and a new start box for it, both now upgraded to LIPO which is so much better! I just cant seem to hurt this truck, no mater what i throw at it it just takes it and carries on! its absolutely great, so glad i bought it
  2. thought i best update this! since the last update this has melted two idler gears in the gearbox, im now on my third and final set, so big changes are about to happen! ive also fitted aluminium from shocks as the fronts were rubbish, and just had more fun on the beach with it so the changes! im going for a rear spool, gearbox and motor mount out of a MST XXXd with metal bevel gears, and a properly adjustable motor then im going to buy a bit of sheet aluminium and the whole chassis is being re made new top and bottom decks, all drilled on a pillar drill so should be nice and acurate then I can start to turn the power right up in the car and hopefully get the gearing right so it doesn't get so hot cant wait
  3. I bought one of these 2 years for 20, worked perfect, even came with a charger and everything! Converted it into a drift car and then sold it for 70 I think with better electrics etc!
  4. Nope they are quality! Tyres are getting there! They are brilliant, within 30 miles riding at 0 degrees I was feeling more confident on these that my last set! Had to ride into London on Thursday for work, almost got my knee down round marble arch
  5. I think a .26 is what my 427 is!I wouldn't think about going much bigger! Just reducing run times, plenty of punch out of mine now it's tuned right! I'll send you a pm about he motor mounts!
  6. Yep that will be it! You soon learn if the engine stops you have to let go quick! Is the wiring OK or has that all gone black?
  7. Post a picture up will help see what's the matter! I burnt all my wiring trying to fire an engine after it had been re pinched! The wheel stalled and all the current went into the wires, that was a lot of smoke!
  8. And most people run .21 engines on truggy aswell, I don't think you really need a big block I'm a truggy! I've got a mach 427 on my losi truggy which is great, but don't really feel it's much better than the .21 I've got in my losi buggy!
  9. I've got two stock losi mounts that I can sell you of you need one? Ive got a tall one for use with pull starts and a shorter one for use with starter boxes
  10. Blimey! How did you have them wired?
  11. Here's mine! Bandit 600, moderately modified, main things are paint, tail tidy, exhaust, gsxr1000 rear shock, and some really good tyres! Love it, looking for a second bike as I cN bring myself to sell the Bandit!
  12. Yep that's what you do, or can put 1 x 12v battery, or 1x 4s lipo! I'm going down the lipo route with mine now, used gel cells for years b T they are heavy and about the same price to buy as a 4s lipo!
  13. All sorted! Thanks nitro_noob!
  14. New quick change motor mount from nitro_noob, Just waiting in the pull start eliminator backplate to arrive, and then new exhaust gaskets and we will be cooking on gas! New pit buddy and starter box have arrived, Judy need new lipos for the starter box's to get rid of the 12v battery's next!
  15. You could always lock the diff? I want to do it in my sct to stop the inside wheel ballooning round corners and keep the power on but I think I might damage the very old gearbox it's running! If you look in the drifting section it explains how to lock diffs!

  17. Got this out for a bit of proper action the other week! First thing to happen in as snapping the pull start however so it is now well on its way to getting converted to bump start, just so much more convenient! Anyway pictures and a short instagram video!
  18. Anyone got a losi quick change engine mount going spare? Ta
  19. The very got enough webbing to add straps to this one too! So it will be ready to have a starter box or car stand mounted and good to go!
  20. In the week a knocked myself up a new pit buddy for my truggy, and thought while I had the wood on the saw might as well knock together two. Made from 18mm marine ply, with space in the end of a fuel bottle, 3 Allen Key drivers, 1 flat head for tuning, 2 glo starters and a plug/wheel wrench! Nice and solid, loads of room on the flat bit of a starter box etc. Doesn't come with any carry straps as I ran out, but I make mine out of old ratchet straps! 15 collected, 25 posted all fees included. I only have one at the moment, but can knock together more if there is demand for them! This is a picture of my identical one I am now using, with my starter box and truggy sat on top I can make them different aswell of required, could make the box and the end a solid box with open top to store other bits in,
  21. Do you have to remove the pullstart backplate? I snapped the pullstart in my losi truggy at the weekend, and quickly changed motor mount and reconfigured my starter box from my buggy so I could get it going! It worked fine but I need to space something out a little to get the engine sitting straight!
  22. Yep I'm up for it too! Part of the Milton Keynes lot!
  23. Off to Soul on Saturday for a full day testing my new electrics Can't wait! Just need to borrow a tao2 of someone
  24. Yep payment was made last night so this has been sold! Thanks anyway!
