Hi guys, A few n00b questions... Im gonna be getting a Hyper 7, are all the stick packs the same size, will they all fit in the hyper 7 holder ??? MSUK doesn't have the hump or stick pack kits in stock so i guess ill have to buy it all separate, yes ? Would these be ok ??? CHARGER is this OK for charging 6V ??? BATTERY Is 6V OK ??? Most of them are 7.2V would this be too much ??? Also what do i need to buy so i can charge it without removing the battery from the car, is this it: Switch with battery lead You help is much appreciated... Thanks

After reading THIS im thinking that the fuel i linked above might have a bit too much oil content... Is it correct that a higher nitro content fuel will make the engine run cooler ??? If yes, isn't it better for the engine to run cooler ? I thought lower nitro content was better for the engine life

Hi guys, Im new to r/c and going to be getting a Hyper 7 black edition (.21 3-port race engine)... I wont be racing it just running it on the park and tarmac. Will it be ok to run 16% nitro Optifuel RTR 16%, ive been told the that using a lower % nitro as opposed to say 20-25% will make the engine last longer ???? Will i be also better off going for the RTR fuel rather than RACE fuel for better engine life ???? Also if i am ok with 16% what glow plug would you suggest ???? Is the engine in the hyper 7 black (.21 3-port race) the same engine that they put in the hyper 7.5, 8.5 and 9 ???? ive read a few comments that these engines arn't very good

How many gallons roughly will the hyper black engine(.21 3-port race) last, is 20% nitro good for these ??? They now have them in stock but im still not 100% decided between the hyper 7 black and hpi trophy 3.5

so yours wouldn't stay on when it was idling, please keep updating how your getting on as im thinking of buying this model and as you im a newbie to r/c im just wondering if this hobby is going to be too much work and money than fun

for reliability and ease of use would the HPI be better than the hyper ??? im not going to be racing or bashing it, just running on road and grass also, out the 3 hyper engines (.21, .28 and .21 sport 3 port) which is the most reliable ????

are the nitro engines/cars fairly easy to fix/upgrade ?? sorry for all the n00b questions

I see a lot of people in this thread converting from nitro to electric, why is this... Is electric better than nitro ?????

On the description on the Hyper black it says: "As this is a race tuned engine, it will require extra attention when running in and more frequent sevicing, cleaning" It doesn't say this on the other hyper .28... does that mean the black is higher maintenance and more likely to go wrong as its a race tuned ???? sorry for all the questions im a newbie, seening that in the description makes me thing that the .28 would be a better option for a beginner and reliability. is this correct ??? thanks for all your great help

Thanks for all your input guys its really appreciated. Im now also looking at the HoBao Hyper 7 TQ 28 Sport. Its only slightly more expensive than the HPI trophy... How does it compare to the Virus and trophy ????? Are nitro cars an expensive hobby, do you have to keep spending more on them to keep them running ??? EDIT.. what is the difference between these 2 cars, they are both the same price: Hyper 7 TQ 28 Sport and Hyper 7 TQ Sport I can see the 28 has a bigger engine so why are they the same price ???

Are these nitro cars reliable (i wouldn't be bashing it hard, just running it on the road and grass) ??? or would i be spending regular money on repairs ?? They look really fun but im in two minds about getting on, dont want to waste my money

Hi guyz, This is my 1st post, im a complete newbie... Im thinking about getting a nitro r/c car, ive been looking at the Ansmann Virus 2 and the HPI Trophy 3.5 but cannot decide between them. The Virus 2 is cheaper but is it any good ??? Are there any other cars that are a better bang for buck for the price ??? Is the Trophy worth the extra £30 over the Virus ??? I really appreciate your input as i dont want to waste my money Thanks
