Being new to nitro I'm just gonna stick with the traxxas 2.5 and ez-start for now, seems fairly idiotproof But in the meantime; motorsaver air filter (is that the product name?), change the exhaust, fit the RPM arms if/ when I break the stock ones, and I might have a think about giving up reverse... What about brakes? I don't race it yet, but might if I can find somewhere local to give it a go... I raced my marder a few times, that was a hoot.

Hey guys, I've had my Revo a couple of months now, its my first nitro rc, so can anyone give me some pointers of what to get as far as hop-ups, tune ups etc? Its totally standard at the minute (as I've never managed to break it!), so how should I start making it quicker?

They only use the Yokomo drift tyres with the single plastic ring.

Don't see why not, I've tried with my Revo What material is that on the tyres?

If you look at my S15s on the previous page they've all got yokomo light buckets, they look great.

They only use a section of about 3 corners anyway.

Really easy. They supply sticky foam and some reinforced tape, just stick them on. I've learnt to put more tape on though, to make sure splashes of dirty water don't get in and ruin the appearance.

I occasionally work with some of the organisers , could ask them to get one down at Castle Combe next year

I don't know how many of you know about this, but there's a UK Drift Championship up and running alongside the full size UKD1 championship, at the same events as the real things. Round 4 took place yesterday at Silverstone, pics and a report will be on the D1RC Website soon. There are 2 more rounds to come this year, it'd be nice to see a few more people joining in!

No I'm not, I go on DRC. The light buckets only turned up on friday, they're being fitted at the minute, hence saying its not quite finished yet I'll post a finished pic when they're done.
