I have made A supercharger which is a funnel with a computer fan in it The funnel fits into the air intake hole where the air filter was The computer fan is powered by a motor (which acts as a Dynamo) i found in an old CD drive A rubber band is attached to the flywheel and around the motor. The electricity from the CD drive motor powers the fan inside the the funnel and turns on the supercharger Unfortunatly the engine started going faster and faster when in idle and going into gear and running away! It was quite difficult to stop as the brakes dont work To stop this i put a switch in the system which ended up being a bit of tin foil on the servo so at full throttle the supercharger turned on Unfortunatly it didnt improve the speed or performance much i'm guessing about 10% improvement on a gd day Tuning the thing was hell - the engine would go lean after a while and the dynamo kept stuffing up! JUST DON'T BOTHER Oh and btw i like the turbochargers woovvvvvvvv tisssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss more

If the teeth too far or even too close it can damage the teeth. Otherwise check the washers, e-rings or anything that moves. Or it could just be a loose screw, if it is thread lock it. if it looks dodgy, post it!

Its a good idea to "run dry" if u can, but fuel in the engine isnt a problem, and will just drain out.

The normal flame is from the dirt, but it doesnt light very easily, abit like diesel realy and nitro fuel has nearly no flash point compared to somthing like petrol Only burns when heated or in gas form Off topic - !!!DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!!! My uncle demonstrated that he could drop a lit match into petrol (just a tad on the floor) and that it wouldnt explode , It worked The only thing with petrol is that the fumes light

Just wondered how common it was, but my cousins car caught fire for no reason (nothing too big), and it wasnt running lean Ill contact him and see if hes got any pics, and the results of the post-mortem I think he crashed? into a curb at high speed?

Yep, its dead, Get a new one Always keep 2-4 Spares and a wrench so u can find out and replace it quick

It does work (even at 40,000 RPM!) Happened to me, throttle servo jammed (due to servo saver) and it got stuck in a massively fast donut, because the tires are new (i havnt glued them) the 2 on the outside of the donut shot across the neighbours garden flying over there fence Anyway that method works PS. The neighbours love me and nitro cars!

Does anyone know how much more the X version will cost?, will they b scrapping the 4.6 SS? And how quickly will modelsport get it in? Thanks

Ok, im looking for a better engine for my Tamiya Nitro Force Kit (NDF-01) with a FR - 15S Engine Can i use the same flywheel, cluch shoes and spring ect. on a faster engine? and What sort of engine would u recommend? Thanks

they need ajusting from time to time, cause of the weather, Hot, cold ect.

Uve burnt out ur cluch shoes and spring, proberbly by reving it whilst uve stopped it at a curb or with ur foot Just replace em and u should b ok
