people are put off by nitro,because the cheaper engines tend to be hard to tune and can wear out quickly,electric plug and play,no tuning time,no pull starts,it the easy option and it fast very fast,but i love the nosie of nitro,when there all the quiet cars going round the track it aint the same,think of a f1 race without the noise,not for me,but for speed electrics the one to go for,in a couple of years there be 1/8th electric racing at most tracks,look how many 1/10th off road electric clubs are opening,but noisey nitros for me
