Thanks for that, feel a bit of an idiot now.... I see how it works and yes the RX will override a third party failsafe. For future reference and to stop some other n00b buying one. The inbuilt failsafe responds by putting both servo's back to a neutral position. Its a shame really, as a third party one you can preset to apply the brakes and stop the car from freewheeling.

Got to return the failsafe as it didn't work. (Fastrax Micro Failsafe) Set as per the instructions and when I turned off the controller the servo didn't move. Looking at starter box now, any recommendations. Had a look around the site and getting some mixed reviews.

I'm keeping an eye on the Mote Park (Maidstone) Bash and pop along if that goes ahead. I've picked up a failsafe today and 2 new GP's. Hopefully I can complete the run in at the weekend and then have some real fun.. Dan

Joined the Hyper 7 Club with a H7 Black \o/ Had a little problem with initial start up as it was starved of fuel at idle. Kept stalling. Split 2 fingers to pieces in pull start...F%%king things. Rear wheels fell off as nuts not tightened in box.. Fouled the glow plug as I'd adjusted the fuel too rich to get initial start up done... Now looking for a new plug and a starter box/rota start Ordered bumpers. Ordered Steering Servo. Oh happy days,,,
