  1. Hi OK I need some advice from you guys who have come across the same problem, if any and how you experienced RC guys over came it all. Right basically as I have upgraded my 18cxp engine to a big block 28cxp the back right side where the engine sits seems to drop and is pretty noticeable. My shocks are adjustable but it doesn't seem to help even when I adjust them. Also baring in mind the left side is always higher so it's tilted if you know what I mean. What do you guys think is the best way to fix this? I've also bought some pre-load spacers which will probably arrive Monday if not Tuesday not sure if it will help. The other thing I noticed as well is I have lost the bounce - do you think another avenue I could pursue is firmer or softer springs? Anyway love to hear your ideas Thanks
  2. Hey everyone I know it's been a while but haven't had a chance to give an up date because of the S***** weather and time but, had a chance to diagnose my RC problem the other day so thought I give you guys a head's up. As you all know been trying to tune my Nitro with some dismal success as on WOT it always stalled.... OK first attempt tuning got a bit better but still stalling on WOT but not as bad as before but still 'STALLED' Second attempt, you wouldn't believe the one way bearing went - arrrrggghhhhh!!! Now you would of thought this was the last thing I needed but it was just what I needed, it basically lead me to a problem I just over looked and can't believe I missed it. I took off the backplate to get to the one way bearing and it was cracked in half (by the way I run it on a roto-start so much better than pull-start) replaced it with a new one, when I was screwing back the backplate I noticed fuel was leaking out of the the bottom right corner, I had a suspicion before I had a leak but could never find it and put it down to fuel coming out of exhaust and ending up on my chassis, was never a huge amount but there was some to see. So I tightened the backplate to the point where no fuel was leaking, put some thread locker to make sure screws don't come loose due to engine vibration and put it all nicely back together. Fueled up ready to go, Man I couldn't believe what happened took me 5 minutes to tune and on WOT no stall " Yahooooo' it's sick fast and does wheelie's "Wicked" Basically it looks like it was all due to a leak which was causing all my headache's..... I've only tried in my backyard at the mo trying to get it tuned up and now it looks really promising. Will be taking it to a park or something to give it a good bash/run so hopefully will put a video and some pics up next. Thanks to everyone for there replies and helpful advice
  3. I've been back to factory settings that I just don't understand what to do now as it still doesn't fix problem?! Regarding a video Suthers I will try to see if I can get one up
  4. London - I have a feeling that might be too far from whatever you going to ask me :-)
  5. I've done that richened it still cuts out. I mean although I pretty new I wouldn't exactly call myself a novice and I've watched videos on tuning so when I richen it it should not cut out at all unless i do it too much but still it stalls?!
  6. Hi I'm pretty new to RC and I bought myself a Redcat Landslide LT originally and for some reason I got carried away and upgraded the engine to a SH28 Pro PT28XM-P6 as well as some parts :-). I can start her up and everything, done all the break in procedures and so on, but my problem which I just can't seem to fix is whenever I go full throttle it dies/stalls. I've done everything..... richened it, leaned it, watched videos on how to, gone back to default started all over but still no joy :-( I'm using 20% byron fuel, idle settings is pretty much 1mm gap, checked fuel lines, changed them but still no go. So as you can see I am desperate to get up and running, by the way it's pretty cold weather here at the moment and I have been running it richer to get it started and going but still same problem, as soon as I go full throttle it stalls. So anyone who can give me some sound advice will be much appreciated otherwise I will have to take to hobby shop which I don't want to do... think I've already wasted a gallon of fuel trying to fix problem and at this rate I'm getting no where fast :-( Thanks in advance
