I spoke to them about this before I bought mine and the chap said that they had 80 units back then that's why they could afford to sell them that cheap and just wanted to get their shop known. And yes it's legit, I got mine from them.

Do run it on concrete a lot??? I read something about some guys breaking diffs due to running fast on high grip surfaces. EDIT... Can someone please answer my question about the integy lst air filter. CHEERS!!!

Is it always the rear diff that's prone to breaking??? Another daft question guys... My friend gave me an integy air filter for LST but not the extra large one, can I use that?

Hi Danny... Gutted about your problem with the diff mate. Dont you think its a faulty diff... I'm new to this but has been taking airsoft gearboxes apart for years. If its constantly breaking something, its either replace all the internal parts as one of them may be deffective or just replace to whole diff. I got one from the states complete with half of the drive shaft and both outdrives for 18 quid including shipping.

Is the Losi 810 upgradable? Say replace the engine if want to. And are spare parts easy to find?

Hi guys, Thanks for the advice. It is difficult to choose but still going towards more on the Losi side. It just look alot better and as you said better hardware I suppose.

At least you got it to run. Mine instantly stalled as soon as I touch the throttle. Had to lean the LSN to get it to go. Have not touched the HSN yet as still breaking it in. It's a little to cold here in the south east never got the temperature up to 200 F even with the shell in place.

Thanks for the quick reply guys... I am actually torn between the losi and the hyper as theyre both race legal just incase I decide to venture that route. The Losi looks really nice and clean tho. I've read that the reverse should be ok as long as it's used properly. Like make sure the truck is on full stop before reversing...like the real thing, you won't shove your car in reverse while it's still moving forward would you.

Yep it's still clean. The maximum temperature I got on teh second tank was 205 degrees fehrenheit on the DX3S. It was mosly averaging between 185 to 195. That was after adjusting the LSN. That break looks painful man... Hav a look at Ebay US loads of spare parts there. At least it looks like its a simple repair. What speed was it doing when it happened? B2104 I think it is. Managed to run 2 tanks of fuel. had to stop for now as the neighbours are getting a bit annoyed I think. Everything went well except on the second tank, could anly manage up to 204 f on the temp. anyway. managed to get some photos:

I'm doing my break in at the mo. Truck started after a few pulls on the pullstart. Idling constantly. Low temps tho. 197 at the moment. Started reving up and overheating about 3/4 tank left so leaned on the LHS and was good again.

Hi guys. What tyres would fit the XXL? I want to get spare tyres but don't know which one will fit. Regarding that receiver box...I'm thinking of putting a rubber around the edge of the lid so that it seals it when it's closed. Still looking for what material to use.

Those socks look good. Do you find the receiver case/housing protected enough frpm dirt and water going in? I'm thinking of putting some kind of rubber seal to water proof it.

Finally got mine Monday. Started checking it. How tight should the screws be? Went through a few of them and I'm still able to tighten most of them. The screws holding the shocks also still tighten up but I don't want to over tighten them. Anyway looks good, just waiting for the weather to get better to break it in.

Yup got it from them. Should get it today. I have a friend who built an LST with XXL specs form eBay spare parts. So I'll get him to help me check it out and break-in. How did you do the break-in? Did you just follow the manual or did something else? You think it's okay to break-in in this cold weather?
