  1. Back to the top with this. This really is the most rc I've ever owned and would cost a lot more than in asking to build to this spec

Gonna be a bit cheeky here any chance of splitting the TBR bumpers ? ????

Lol afraid not buddy want it to go all as one :)

  3. I have decided its time to sell my tekno mt410 as since it being built I have only used it twice. It does come with the original box and manual. In addition it is fitted with tbone front and rear bumpers including wheelie bar. Savox 1267 hi torque servo. Hobbywing max 8 combo. Alloy shock caps and alloy centre diff mount and alloy rear brace. In addition I have completed the rear diff mod so no risk of stripping it out. The only negative is that the body is battered from just a single run. This thing is an absolute animal and deserves to be used. Price wise I would like £500 without controller or £550 with spectrum dx5c. I would prefer cash on collection from Leicester and if it is collected I have a brand new Gensace lipo I will include.

  4. This will come with original box and parts for both the trailer along with manuals and a bnip light set for trailer. This is fully fully ball raced and the trailer is outfitted with a full load on the back. The load is secured using double aided tape and so can be rearranged As for price I would like £250 collected from Leicester. Postage isn't an option on this build.

  5. So had the tekno out for it's first proper bash today with tanveer. First things first 4s on this esc and motor is more than enough! Secondly this thing is built like a tank. I have now done the rear diff mod. Only issues after today is the routing for my on off switch has resulted in it getting caught so I'm going to see if motorsport can replace the switch or resolder this one. Also the plastic centre diff mount isn't the best so I have ordered the alloy replacement

Not quite the answer I was hoping for but I'm taking that as the best advice ? bash it till it dies it is lol

Is there any notable difference in the way of fittings for air box/exhaust or are they all the same on the outside ?

    Thanks ?

From the outside unless it's engraved or marked until you move to 32cc and above the engines are all physically identical it's the bore inside that changes

Nice... love the colour of that body - how did you do the silver 'blobs' - decals?

Is that savox servo a low profile jobbie - looks quite shallow?

I've just used some masking sheet and draw shapes and cut them out. Can only do simple stuff with my skill level. The 1272 is a full size servo running 30kg of torque :D

  8. So things I have learnt after running my first pack through the tekno. The stock diff oils are a little thin. 4S with the 2200 motor and 15t pinion is more than enough power this thing is a monster. A wheelie bar is absolutely essential. The suspension is a work of art and running on tarmac will destroy bodies. The turning batteries have a huge amount of punch and after 30+ minutes did not hit cut off. The savox 1272 is a beast of a servo and throws the wheels around like they are nothing. This is by a huge margin the most fun rc I've ever had destroying the savage flux imho

Its beautiful mate rhe front bumper and rear has me jealous i really wanted mt410 too but couldnt press it. I was ready thinking it had proline rims/body included then found out no rims and talked myself back to it. But then found out not the body either i thought how hard can it be then. One buggy with a truggy brother and mash them togeher. A bitsa truck i like it.

I chose the vorza/d8t but then d8/d8t and it has about 4 models parts fitted lol. 5th mayb looking at these bumpers. Especially the rear one is that a Tbone rear/wheelie or something or tekno/tbone parts?

Thats a cool trick for the diff cases theoretically it should hold up fine much better with the bearings flange sandwiching everything in.

The bumpers are both tbone racing as I found they offered a great blend of style and function. I've looked at lots of models and the only one that came close is the revo 2.0 but that will need replacement servos, replacement tie rods and sooner rather than later replacement wheels and tyres and so worked out even more expensive than the tekno. I've taken my time with the build and everything has been done to the very best of my ability

I thought that but even with the chassis braced it happens it’s just a weak spot I guess. Remember the mt410 is a bitsa truck ie bits from this and that kit made into one so maybe the rear diff case was never designed to take the hits and power folks are using hence the problem ?

I was just thinking the parts are shared so is this more of an issue when running 6s and doing big air? I'm only looking to run 4s and it will never see a skate park lol

Not been on here in a while but I’ve had one of these from the very moment they where released, sadlytheres a big flaw and it can be annoying as well as costly !  So what it is you ask ?

The rear diff housing ! It supports 2 bearings that hold the output pinion in the housing, there’s a tiny lip that stops them from moving back and forth sadly this tiny lip fails with either heat or hard hits causing the casing to be useless but more annoying is the damage it causes to the ring and pinion when it fails as the miss mesh eats the teeth in some cases which is exsoensive to replace.

Solution not heard of one yet ??. Currently trying out some flanged bearings and spacers so I’ll update soon if it helps ??

Fir a kit this expensive you’d thin Tekno would sort the issue ?

I must admit I've not heard of anyone having this issue even those bashing them ridiculously hard ? tbf mine will never ever see that much abuse.

Can't progress with mine any more atm as the servo I intended to use doesn't fit ? repreplacement ordered hopefully get it finished next Saturday all being well :)
