anybodie know the answer to stock settings for the grub screws in the gear box

Im just woundering whats the stock settings for the gearbox fause i have a funny feling the prat tht owned th truck before me has messed with everything and wouldnt surprise me if hes messed with the gearbox as wekk

The engine is used and has it's own pipe mounted to it i bought it from forum member maz so i think it should be tuned ill pm him and ask

Hi all just fitted a thunder tiger 28 to my savage did the mid tank mod alls well but it dont seem ti change gear at all how do i know that the previous owner hasnt messed with the settings on the gear box or how do i return it to factory settings

what about the hyper mini st it's small but loads of fun my son has one and i am suprised at how much fun it actually is take a look .

right i have bitten the bullet and gone for the mid tank mod .the tank is almost in i just need to work out the servo my question is whats the ofna mod all about .. because if it will make life better in the long run i shall go down that route ..

hi all i have a savage which did have an ansman 21 engine in it when i bought it but it didn't fit the mount properly so i bought a second hand thunder tiger 28 but my problem is the throttle body when it's moving fouls against the fuel tank i will upload pics later but if anyone has any clues on how to get round the problem with minor mods i will be very greatful this is my daughters truck and all she wants to is get it out bashing ..

hi sorry to hijack the thread but i have just got a savage x and the numpty that had it before me put in an ansman 21 engine holding via only two bolts i have been offered a thunder tiger 28 engine and want to know will that bolt straight in .

can anyone else tell me if the thunder tiger 28 engine will fit the savage

so guys will an ansman 21 fit without to much messing or is it classed as a big block

just thought i am looking at selling an ansman engine a it don't fit the hpi savage engine mount thus meaning it's smaller in size than the hpi stuff i have a mini st o coul se if it fit on the mount for you ..it's really good engine i put some byrons25% in it primed itpulled an it started up great .

so it should fit ok then ,how much could i get for the ansman engine its got loads of compression runs nice ..

well the brakes now work just need to change the engine so if anyone can tell me if th thunder tiger engine will fit then i can look into that..

hi bit new to this i recently bought a savage x it has an ansman 21 engine in it the engine doesn't fit the mount correctly it will only work on two bolts my question is i have been offered a Thunder Tiger .28 BX-R will it bolt straight to the standard mount and work ok as i think if i keep the ansman engine in it's goin to cause problems so id rather buy another engine that will work better and fit better

another quickie the ansman engine that is in the truck at the mo isn't big enough to fit properly on the engine mount it only hold by two bolts .i have been offered a Thunder Tiger .28 BX-R engine and i was woundering will it fit the standard hpi savage mount

the servo and rod moves fine it just that the rod stays with the brakes applied .
