  1. Well we'll all have to wait and see how it perform's ....Hopefully hpi will have a video up soon.
  2. A 23cc engine in a baja is enough but how many bashers run a 23cc?
  3. Like like i said each to their own ....but you'd also be trading power, speed, excitement etc...... hardly what the savage is all about.
  4. each to their own but if im spending
  5. Well i hope it is torquey because a 26 nitro engines power is hardly enough to power a sav xl never mind wheely it.

  7. i think the 8cc in your mta 4 will blow the new hpi gas motor away the thunder tiger motor is a monster. I read a quote from an hpi guy on another forum and he says the power on the gas motor is equal to a.26-.27 nitro motor which is a bit of a let down for me if its true. We need some decent engine companys to knock some big power engines out then ill be tempted to spend my cash.
  8. Has anybody ever fitted lst shocks to a tmaxx?
  9. Already is for sale http://www.modelsport.co.uk/lrp-nitro-engine-zr.32-spec.2-pullstart/rc-car-products/367544

  16. Yeah im looking at the older flux from jespares at
  17. Just for a bit of fun when i cant be bothered with my nitro's
  18. Apologies for starting a pretty boring thread but i really cant decide which one to go for and its starting to hurt my head I only have
  19. Sounds more like its the engine clutch if its cutting out when the wheels are on the floor bit of a common problem on the firestorms
  20. Is the piston hitting the glow plug?
  21. because there not woth much at all and from experience they are a very poor quality rc Its deffo the same truck i lnked you to but yours has had a diffenernt engine put in
  22. its 1/10 acme conquistador http://www.nitrotek.co.uk/conquistador-nitro-rc-monster-truck.html you'll probs be at the model shop every other day as they are cheap and nasty .Hope you didnt pay much for it. When the glow plug is fitted can you lift the truck up with the pullstart ? If you cant your starting issues are probs down to a worn out engine.
  23. You'll find that the picco 26 is a totally different beast with a 1/8 scale tuned pipe on it ,The traxxas pipes hold it back alot .You'll need a decent alloy clutch aswell ive tried them all and found these to be the best the best http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Traxxas-Revo-aluminum-bi-directional-clutch-RVO1100XH-/290619305823?pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43aa42af5f#ht_1011wt_952 .Hardly any wear on mine after 3 gallon
  24. You will get alot of smoke when its this cold outside alot of people make the mistake of leaning there engines to far in the winter because they can see smoke It does sound like you've leaned it out to far.
  25. Try richening the high speed needle 1/8 of a turn (anti-clockwise) and try that is sounds like its to lean ,And gently take it to full throttle untill its fully broken in
