Once you've finished the engine break in and got it tuned it should be very easy to start with a pullstart even without heat providing you have primed the engine properly :-)

Well i managed to run the engine in today which was nice and easy ,Got to love thunder tiger engines they run superb. So the ts4n luxe goes like a little rocket im more than happy with its performance ,The stock tyres did a pretty good job much better than i thought they would . I still have new higher gear ratio's to fit but not sure i need them now .I dare say ill fit them anyway

I use modelport 25% for all mine and they run great

I'm pretty sure it's a 4s motor but it should really shift on 4s with the right gearing

The hong nor pl-810 is a very good pipe ideal for 28 size engines and will give you better bottom and mid power The jp 3 / 4 etc are also great pipes but more so for 21 engines still do well on a 28 though

I find it best to strip ,and rebuild rtr's that way you know its been built properly

I just bought a new ts4n luxe today and it's a very nice bit of kit for the money .havent had a chance to run it yet so can't say how fast it is but if you have a look in the touring car section on this forum there's a link to different clutchbell gears if you want to go any faster ;-) I've got a 17/20 combo on the way stock is 13 1st gear and 17 second . I've stripped mine to fill the diffs with oil and noticed a few loose screws here and there so if you do go for a luxe it's a good idea to check it over and thread lock any bolts that go into metal especially the exhaust manifold bolts

My opinion is If you have the money and more importantly have the green light I would recomend buying new .Im not saying you wont get a nice used nitro but ther is many sheds kicking about that may end up costing you more in the long run.

He he Warp 8 sounds good do you think I' can squeeze the 17/20 gears or am I getting carried away now I've got the 16/19 in my basket? Found the mounts in Italy 5 euros so ordered them as well .Also found the alloy tension bar but was 50 euros think I'll dodge that for now . On the hunt for some decent tyres car park tyres now

I'm on the stock mount with a stock thunder tiger 18 engine Do you know if the mugen bells fit my stock clutch etc ?
