What are peoples thoughts on the gom?
Are there any uk parts suppliers that acctualy have stock of parts?

I've got a week's holiday and I fancy doing a build. I already have a trx4 and an element gatekeeper.
I have been looking at the gmade gom but as nowhere seems to have any gmade parts I'm not convinced.
The dc1 kit looks good for the money.
Any suggestions?

I've been looking a a trx 4 for a while but the price puts me off a bit. This certainly has my interest. Will be the first new car I'll have bough it years

Originally a savage flux but converted to nitro when electronics failed. Has throttle and steering servo though no I have no means to test if they work.. 28 engine thta has never been run. Innovative rc shocks. Suspension conversion kit. Bulkhead strengthener. Xl axle extenders.
Comes with all the parts to make it back into a flux roller. Most of a spare suspension conversion. Enough spares to make most of another roller. 2 sets of rpm arms never fitted
Looking for around 250 posted Inc fees. Located in Bishop aukland.

i had a merv a few years ago. by far the worst car ive had. it eats its rear diff constantly and ist that good off road in my experience.
i would look at a firestorm. tough as old boots from the off. had mine for 5 years or so its still going strong

at 18 w reg 1.2 punto in baby blue. sold
at 19 54 c2 vts. got hit by an idiot in a taxi and written off.
21 53 reg astra 1.8 sri. only bought it to keep for a few weeks till i found a car i wanted but kept it for a year and a half
23 55 reg fiesta st in blue. great little car. still got it
i would love to get a focus st but i cant stomach low 20 mpg haha

I think the only way you will find that out is to find someone who has used both units in the same quad.
Whilst not impossible it might be a bit unusual.
V2 gives more expandability in the future,whilst you don't think you will need that right now it can become addictive and the urge to expand can take over
ive been looking all over and i cant find a definitive answer. i cant think what i would want to expand with. possibly fpv in the future but thats a separate thing all together

ive seen that but its the worst composition ive ever seen. it basically tells me i can plug in other units... great it dosent tell me if they fly any differently

its not so much a budget thing as is it worth the extra? i can afford it i just dont want to if its not worth it.
the 450 with the lite i can get for 191 and with the v2 for 275.

im looking to get a dji 450 flamewheel.
it comes down to what flight controller i want.
im struggling to see the difference? perhaps a slightly longer gps lock time? possible not as stable though this sems to be down to poor set up on the users part
i want it mostly for a bit of fun. i might take some video from it now and again but nothing serious?

about 110 in my fiesta st, i rearly speed in the car it dose nothing for me.
135 on my sv1000 chasing a mate on his z1000. bloody hard to hold on with no fairing.

I just typed in gom and got very little. Found much more since thank you. I didn't know thee where connected. That's good to know
