  1. Just thought i would share this with people.. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Losi-LST-XXL-Monster-Truck-RTR-brand-new-its-box-/180597497078?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item2a0c731cf6#ht_1872wt_1139 That's half price basically... any ideas why?
  2. Savage 3.5 or 4.6 or 4.6 with reverse? What is the cheapest deal for each? I'm interested in getting a body for it, either a hummer or a Plymouth body. I will probably send it to someone to be painted in the near future but for now. Can you get any hummer bodies already painted? I am so confused which one to get... 300 pounds will get a small engine savage. 350 will get a bigger engine and 400 will get big engine + reverse. Thanks in advance.

Sorry everyone i meant too expensive, my bad. 350 pounds is the VERY limit so at 300 pounds the smaller engine seemed a good idea. Is it only the engine or is it less durable etc. Anyone know any good 2nd hand deals because unless im sure it has been maintained properly, which will be hard to know, i wont go that route.

What do you think about the smaller engine, it might be too much the 4.6...

Is it worth it, some people say that it wears out easily?

Between the savage reverse, normal 4.6 and 3.5 what are the differences(apart from the obvious). Are they worth it for what you get ??

  8. Backgarden jumping and bashing.. Savage x 4.6 Hong nor ctr (lost xxl if i can find the 300 pound one on ebay again) HPI Bullet st 3.0 Other Thanks
  9. Is this a good car for jumping and general back garden stuff. Or will it be too fast etc? Thanks
  10. Thanks for the input. Quite a few places it says it is really good for racing and i learnt that when they are good for racing they normally are fragile... Is this true? Would i be able to jump the hong nor crt? Is it durable?? Thanks
  11. Im interested. I have a Brushless raptor truggy. It is really fast but a bit fragile. Had a few bumps and knocks and it comes with 2 lipos. This is where i have it from, but because of a few scrapes and bumps it will be lower by a bit. http://www.nitrotek.co.uk/raptor-radio-controlled-electric-brushless-truggy.html
  12. Hello everyone. Background information first- I have a brusless raptor truggy and a bug crusher pro(nitro.) I know about nitro engines and running them in so I don't need tips on that. What i do want advice on is what rc buggy/truggy/truck i shoud get for backyard bashing. I want the MOST durbale for the price range which is 300-350 pounds MAX. I have been looking at the HPI's. I know the savage is durable but is there one in my price range? I have been looking at the hpi bullet st 3.0. It looks awesome but is it good/durable? Thoughts are greatly appreciated so to sum up i want a nitro b/truggy/truck. Durable, not extremly fast but fast enough. Thanks!
  13. Cheers mate, i might go down to my local dealer and see what he says. Would i only need chasis because i dont know what the wierd noise is so it could be something important...
  14. Im pretty sure i dont have that but what you said about a 2nd hand chassis is excatly what i want to do, but i am still young, but i do have a bit of electronic experience What would i use and just how difficlut would it be, could you put any links in the reply or rough prices etc. Thanks!
  15. I dont know what a slipper cluth is, sorry. what i mean is can I use the internals, motor and battery in a more durable tougher car?
  16. Hey everyone, this is my first post and i think it is going to be a difficult one to answer... I have a Electric acme raptor truck/truggy. I have found out that it is extremely fragile! I dont ever jump it but things would still brake. I have recently broken the universal joint with grub screw that joins the central shaft to the gearbox. I think that the whole chassis has slighlty bended and everything i think is slight out of place which makes the joint come off regualy and consequenlty i have to look round my garden for it. It came off again to day but i thought i could still drive it, but instead of the 4WD it would just be 2WD, Doh! Mistake! I heard a horrible noise after a while and whenever i accelerated i heard like a clunking noise as if the wheel clogs thingy were just eating each other up. Now whenever i accelerate it is no where near as fast and veru loud, obviously there is info that you might need to know to diagnose it properly but without taking everything apart i wouldnt be able to know. If Something is broken is thre any way i can buy a cheap truck or buggy and fit wither the lipo batterys and especially th brushless motor... Thanks!
