Yea its his first RC, should be fine, he's only a nipper I've ripped the radio gear & ESC out of my old Tamiya Porsche Taisan (#58172), but had to buy a new battery and charger as i've not seen mine for years, thinking about it not since the last house move. I haven't run a battery car for quite some time! haha Keeping my fingers crossed that the Tamiya TEU-101BK ESC can handle the current of a 23T motor

So I just ordered one of these for the step son as its his birthday very shortly and he keeps getting all upset when I don't let him play with my Nitro car, so I thought for £35 I can't really go wrong. I watched the MSUK Youtube video which mentions that there's a further review on this forum but I can't seem to find it, can anyone link me to it?
