Havent been out with the cam in a while,i have been playing with some cheap extension tubes i got off of ebay ages ago though,theyre not great,but they were cheap . As already suggested,set your camera to sports mode,then set it to shoot as many pics as poss.The main thing to remember is to pan the camera at the same speed as the truck,that way you should end up with the truck in focus,with a nice blurry background .

They do rattle about a bit! If you want less wobble,cut about 1 or 2 mm of fuel line and place them on the mounts between the tank and the rubber o rings

+1 for big bang 25,a mate of mine uses either mc8 or mc9 plug,he had the same engine in for about 3 years! He also uses 17mm hex,hasn't stripped one in ages .

One of the co-op missions involves flying a helo,its all you do for the whole level.Its worth giving it a go,its not quite as hectic as the multiplayer

Flashlight ftw,just remember to turn it off until you need it !.So many people give their position away whilst running to the battle (am thinking Metro)with the flashlight bouncing off the walls next to them as they run.Same with the lasers,ive definately dodged a few deaths because the screen gets a quick flash of red across it & ive gone to ground straight away. Its amazing how many people don't know how to spot,especially the 'snipers' .Only problem is,now when I play cod,I spend most of my time looking through the scoreboard !

Are you looking to display the picture ? One way could be to take a copy,use this as the display piece then store the original somewhere safe,then use photoshop to adjust the digital copy (tweak colours/contrast etc,fix cracks/marks,try to get rid of the yellow).Lots of factors can affect the colour in old photos (moisture,inks/paper used,uv damage etc),will ask at work on Tuesday if there is a specific cause (im a picture framer ) & what the best course of action is. As far as the scanner,have you thought about trying to take a pic of it ? dont know if this can be done or not,but might be worth a try .

Scrumpy jack - That hotrod looks amazing !.The can of WD really sets it off,am still a long way off anything like that though.There seems to be a few peeps in the 3d warehouse who are making savage bits,maybe its time we all come together and make one between us . Thats puuuurdy! Are you going to build the whole thing? A few new renders - I want to make a backgammon board,so just playing with ideas at the mo. Some savage arms(bit dark i know!).So simple,yet a pita to draw because of the angles on the sides I know theyve got the same backgrounds,really should use something else!.

Started with Sketchup about a month ago & been using Kerkythea since it was mentioned on the first page . Somebody bought me this when i first got my d40 - http://www.amazon.co...14988467&sr=8-1 its a good book,helps you to understand what the different settings are used for.But the best way is just to experiment & dont be afraid to use the different modes (including auto - cant beat it for just picking the camera up & firing away ). Had a similar problem with setting infinity when i was trying to take this shot : Village at night by Production MC, on Flickr Something that i found helped in the end was to use the autofocus to focus on whatever youwant,then switch it to manual & take the pic.That & a lot of trial & error ! Didnt get out a lot with the cam over the winter,but now the weather is a bit better ive got the bug again.A random sunset Brittens pond @ sunset by Production MC, on Flickr
