  1. My HD Thrust bearing turned up today one of the smallest parts of the build but required for running on 6S While I was rebuilding I thought about changing my pinion, but decided against it after I'd unscrewed the grub screw - didnt re-threalock Had a few runs on the street and really noticed the difference with the wheels balanced, handling at speed was amazing and my magnetic tape ( used for weights) stayed on the wheel. Me and my boy headed up to the local park as grass dont scratch the roll bar as much as tarmac, took 2 minutes before there was no movement from the LST2. Could see straight away the pinion was gone, 15 minutes of searching and still no pinion and spares were at home. LST2 - a pinion My boys only two and a half, and was quite upset we didnt get to play so when we got home I put another pinion on and made a ramp out of the kids trampoline for some Garden Fun double click to play Sound likes its bottoming out on landing to any one else? another back flip Some bad landings 17 lbs landing on the bumper Some pics Threadlocking my grub screw tonight and will try again tomorrow to get some speed runs on video

    BEC FAQ

Alright Jay, Hope you get it sorted soon HS-7955TG max is 6v, but that gives 330z oz/in. which should be plenty
  8. Yeah defo custom job, will let you know how I get on
  9. Sorry to hear that fella, You taken the casing off the MMM? If not could be worth a look to check everythings soldered as it should be. Fair few MMM's on sale the other day in the for sales thread and at decent price, sell some gear and your sister to Jay
  10. Jay would they fit Losi shocks?
  11. Same with GPM Delrin spurs , no more are being made Keep us posted on the MMM, I had to change my castles firmware as version 1.23 didint like 6S for some reason. Could be worth a try updating the firmware ?
  12. Ouch, but great footage ..like to see that in slow motion. Alright Jim....nice shot
  13. On the advice of the guy who made the balancer I've removed the rubber seals and grease from the rubber bearings and added a drop of oil Using magnectic tape for the weight, see how it goes. Huge difference noticed after removing the seal and grease and replacing with oil, no spinning of the wheel is required now, just placing the bar with wheel on the balancer and the heavy side goes down.
  14. Hey Basher666, I run a brushless Losi LST2 and tried the Losi conversion kit once, The kit isnt designed for anything more than running on flat grass to be honest. Check out my Thread which has comparison pics of the Losi Motor mount and the TDracingrc motot mount. Theres a world of difference between the two and the TDracingrc gear has become THE motor mount for Losi 1/8th E conversions. Check out LSTForums.com for a bit more info mate, many LST2 / XXL E conversion threads, and just about 100% use TDracingrc conversion gear. The Losi kit has many flaws, I stongly advise you not to buy unless you run on flat ground.
  15. Thanks for offer Ahmet, but has to be a HD Thrust bearing, its on the slipper assembly & I woundnt trust the stock one on 6S..bet you it turns up on bleeding Monday Thanks mate, Measuring temps on the side of the ESC with a Sealy temp gub
  16. Defo want to see that build mate Looking good Kristian, glad you got the shocks sorted EC5's connectors all the way, expensive but worth it. Jay, loving that blue mate
  17. Jay, you seen Rozco's new design with the cut outs on the side and on the flat of the base ? View here ...Very very nice. Just upgraded my account with Arco (how late am I lol?) and like the tape idea, I have some magnetic tape which is quite heavy which I may try.... Ey-up, you having a dig at my driving ?? Nah mate, its only for LST's Joking aside, I cant make tomorrow mate, LST2 still waiting on one part Gutted as I cant wait to see the Savage Masterpiece in action, I'm looking into gearing at mo so I can keep somwhere around half a mile behind you I'll defo make the next meet where you can try it / look at it there. I've bought double of my spares this time Having to buy from US only now as UK just dont stock the parts I need. Just to give an idea of size and space available for different wheels Faulty tape measure Faulty tape measure with Moab on balance bar to one side, plenty of space I'm happy for any one to try it, the only downside is the wheel hex size and deep socket. I've received the balancer with a 20mm stock losi hex. One side of the wheel hex needs a grub screw so it'll keep secure to the bar. To tighten the hex nut you need a deep socket in that size, I'll see how much a kit of deep sockets is and may buy a set. I'll be modding a 23mm hex which you can tape around (you're using 24mm hex's?) and think Joe may be looking to try with a 17mm hex, any one running any other size hex would need to mod one of their hex's. Probably should just read specialized ...never been one for using stickers, but thought the Black needed some breaking up.
  18. any one seen my maplins dremel?

  19. Defo the orange mirror effect
  20. Finally got my wheel balancer. Bought off one of the members from LSTForums whos been custom making them for 40 series size wheels and above. Balancer with the dudes 23mm wheel hex I'll be using a different 23mm wheel hex as the hex has to be tapped for a grub screw to go against the bar. With 40 Series Wabash and 40 series Moab Wheel spins really well, but the guy who I've bought this from has advised to remove the rubber washers and grease from the bearings and add a drop of light oil, this gives a frictionless spin. I'm still looking into what I'll use as weights.
  21. Looks the nuttzs Mark
