Finally getting round to mounting some of this stuff in the case. I believe I have got the GFX's plugged into the correct slots according to manual? Slots 1+3? And the H100 nearly fully mounted Could have an issue with the fans that need to attach to the radiator - the right one may interfere with RAM depending how tall it is.

No official ones, but your typical local advertising i.e. PreLoved and Gumtree have some. Then you have all the forums: MSUK, Maxbashing, Oople, BF UK, etc etc

These are the new ones and got decent reviews on overclockers. Haven't actually crunched numbers, but these are recent new releases from bitfenix

So got my Corsair H100 In goes the processor My God, thats the nerve racking thing I have ever done :| But unfortunatly thats all for now.... the H100 didnt come with any of the mounting kit in the box so have emailed corsair to see if they can help me out. But I'm looking at more than a week before I can acutally start mounting stuff in the case

Wow, this topic has gone off topic I dont mind though, received my corsair H100 but it seems most of the mounting hardware was not included for some reason - emailed corsair to see if I can get some sent. Looking at least a week in delays, before I can start putting this stuff into the case I'm missing everything above except the bracket that sits behind the mother board, was so looking forward to start putting it all in the case too

have used 120mm and 140mm and 200mm I bought mine from ebuyer (best price and postage rate) the postage is really what kills me though cheapest I can get is around

Yes both a SSD and HDD are on the list - SSD simply for the op system and HDD for everything else. I wouldnt skimp out on the cheaper components after all that would I ?? Controlling the fan speeds should avoid this, have the side panels on low and the front one on full

no idea, this pc is going to be much more powerful to what i use day to day so even with it overclocked it will be fast for me. Will overclock at some stage, dunno when or what to

Budget just didnt allow, I know its project overkill - but the spending had to capped somewhere if I didnt why didnt I get a 2011 socket motherboard and processor? And for the same reason I said no, budget!

How many more RAM slots do you need? this thing can take up to 32GB in ram! When the shop gets its refurb, work has started already And if something does happen and I dont get my job back, will just have to wait 12weeks for the next student loan

This was supposed to arrive yesterday but missed the delivery My Intel i7 2700k processor and my asus maximus iv extreme z mother board, will get some close ups of this in a mo. Its one smexy board

So first I got the fans installed, but before that fitted a Sleeved Red LED Kit Goes round the whole case, and then across behind the motherboard to hopefully add some sort of red back drop lighting??? No idea how well it will work dont have a power supply even to test it never mind run the system xD Now the fans, 2x 200mm in the top (exhaust) The 3 120mm Fans where up next 2x on the side panel (intake) And 1x on the rear (exhaust) 1x 140mm in the front (intake) And another 200mm on the side for another intake

Rather expensive logitech order was next: And then this past week the spending really started! Which contained: My 7 Fans (Bitfenix 3x120mm, 140mm all Pro Red LED | 3x NZXT 200mm Red LED) 2x Graphics Cards (PNY T GTX580 OC)

But here we are thought I would create a little thread for others to see and comment instead of clogging up the "postman brought me thread" :whistle: Anyway, been wanting to do this for some time and even though I have next to no knowledge on the most up-to-date components I decided to just dive straight in Yes I may have gone a little "overkill" on the high spec components but for anyone out there that has thought of doing this, its relativly straight forward and can be done on small budget but since I built the baja I realised its best to spend the money first instead of having to chuck money at it every so often. Enough blabbing So the spec so far: Case: NZXT Phantom Black Motherboard: Asus Maximus IV Extreme Z Processor: Intel i7 2700k Graphics Cards: PNY GTX 580 OC's x2 (sli) Cooling: Corsair H100 Watercooler + 4 Bitfenix Red LED + 3 NZXT Red LED Fans Peripherals: Logitech G19 Keyboard, Logitech G13 Gaming Pad, Logitech G9x Mouse, Logitech Z506 5.1 Surround Sound Speakers, Turtle Beach PX3 Headset So to start heres the case: The standard power indicator LEDs in this are blue, hope to change them to red to suit the theme.
