Thanks mate, So roughly a 5000mah will do around 25mins is there any others out there that are higer than 5000mah that will last around 40mins? Ive just been out for about 40mins with 3 batterys and each one lasts about 12mins but thats flat out everywhere is it that when the batterys run out and i get it out the car to be really hot? Hi Mate. How did you exactly pin point where it was leaking though, because i checked everythink like carb O ring is fine, head gasket fine etc i cant see any leaks at all. Can you explain or shed some more light on the when i turn the flywheel theres about 5mm movement either way before the piston moves ive never had this on my other engines? Thanks Again Darren

No your advice is good they where the only two engines i could think of aswell. Well i bought it 2nd hand knowing it didnt run etc. So i put it back to factory settings, put a new plug in, new fuel etc. Got it started for about 5 secs then it dies again then its really hard to start again. Took air filter of put a bit of fuel down the carb flooded the engine took the plug out gave it a few pulls etc, then put the plug back in and no go still. Tried loosening the plug a little and giving it a few pulls still no joy. Ive basically tryed everythink i know and done before but nohtings working. So i decied to strip the engine down because i thought it might be looseing compression. So started stripping and noticed when i turn the flywheel theres abit of play about 5mm before the piston moves what could this be as everythink looks fine? So i duno wheather to build the engine back up with new parts or upgrade if there is one instead. Sorry about the essay. Thanks again Darren

Hi Mate. I cant really answer your question sorry, but ive just bought one of these and running the battery it come with which i know isnt the best. What batterys are you running and which run times do you get roughly? Im a newbie to brushless! Thanks and good luck with you car.

Hi, Ive just bought myself for Christmas a Traxxas Rustler Vxl Brushless. Ive got two Traxxas Power Cell 3000 Hump Pack 8.4V batterys at the moment, im just wondering how long i should expect them to last with it set in sport mode and flat out everywhere? What batterys would you recommend for longer running times? And also what charger would you recommend for faster charging, the one that comes with it takes 8 hours!! Thanks in advance for any advice. Thanks mate thats just what im after, you seem to know your stuff. So abit more advice, if i got that engine would all my other parts off my old engine fit ie flywheel, clutch, exhaust, etc etc if not then what would i need? Thanks Again

Hi, I complety stripped my Rush down last night for a couple of hours and cleaned everythink etc then built it back up and i was think is there another engine which will fit straight in to the Rush's chassis? Or a different one with a little bit of modifying? Thanks

Yeah the CRT does seem to have a good rep on hear. Obviously they are all different and depends on what i want it for but the JATO looks quick! Thanks for the responces, keep them coming.

Hi, Ive got a few Nitro cars etc, but im now looking to buy a petrol RC car. I want one mainly just for tracks and fields. I also want one where i can always get parts etc if it breaks, gona be fairly reliable aswell. Want a decent make. Heres some ive been looking at so far.
