Hi ive just had the same probvlem mate on my evo rush which is very simular , all i did was get abit of fuel line about the same size as the spring and put washers on it so it makes it more or less solid and then adjusted it to just off locking when its not started and no power to it then i started it up and shot down the road and let go and it locked up fine mate i will post a pic up of it later to show you mate

lol although i ordered a carb retaining pin and a spurgear last wed and only the carb pin has arrived at the shop today the thing is that the hpi distributor is only down the road from me lol nevermind i hope it all works out for you mate looks a good project keep us posted

them ladybirds are pest variety called herlequin ladybirds (if they have brown legs and an M shape on the plate at the back of the head just before there red bit)they are asian i watched autumn watch when i went to bed last night lol puts me to sleep every time hehe becarefull they can appear by the hundreds

any savage spur gear will be fine

i have a staffy x collie called spike 18" marbled clarias catfish 14" channel cat 12" gold giant gourami about 20 blue/black and white convict cichlids two 13" common plec's 7" red texas (red devil x texas cichlid) 15 red jewel cichlids big sarasa comets ,shubunkins,goldfish loads of goldfish fry (comets,shubs,goldfish,fancy's) 13 turtles of different species 2 male rats 2 male guinea pigs soon to have 10 baby giant african land snails ive probably missed a load of fish out i have that many lol its like a zoo here lol

Hi everyone im after any parts for my rush evo or any parts and hop ups that will fit (from savage,firestorm 10t nitro,mt2 etc) as im struggling to get hop ups and im waiting forever for parts to come from hpi in swadlingcote (35 miles away lol) so if anyone has any parts at all they no longer want please let me know but they can't be too pricey as im not in work at the mo so very limited funds thanks for reading jay

hi just a little update ive got my engine plate but still waiting on spur gear and carb pin its taking a week to come from swadlingcote just over 3 Miles away lol Anyway doesnt looklike im going to any bash meets this week Ive found a metal spure gear off a savage it looks the same size (apart from 47 tooth) Does anyone know if this would fit on the splines of the rush evo or any other spurgear from another model like the nitro firestorm 10t would fit Sorry for the little rant Thanks for reading Jay

thanks everyone Hazza1304 im still waiting on an steel engine plate , spur gear and a carb pin but i also need 2 carb rubber seals (broke and its leaking ) to get it proper up and running and then giving it a tune up which someone from here is kindly doing for me , im stripping the rear end as we speak and giving it a very good clean up and to see what other bits i might need ,i think the rear wish bones could do with replacing as the rear nut on both sides are abit worn giving the wishbones forward and backward play but they will have to do for now as no cash lol (out of work due to an accident )

im thinking some bigger wheels with i think 12mm hex something like big savage wheels along those lines in size also spur gears , clutch bells , engines , suspension bit and bobs things like that thankyou jay

Hi everyone im jay from chesterfield i have a hpi nitro rush evo my bro in law gave me its pretty bashed up but ive managed to straighten most of it out and get it running im just waiting on some parts (spur gear,engine plate,carb pin) so it should be up and running properly by the end of the week fingers crossed thanks for reading jay
