    unfortunately its becoming an all too common scam. basicly its a payday scam if said person is short of cash and a week or 2 from payday they sell things half there second hand value so people will buy it fast but dont send it. then when it doesnt turn up the buyer opens a case but by this time the person selling has been payed so drags it out alittle but in the end they refunds with appologies. cheaper then a payday loan with no bad out come

    my heart was in my mouth then, the guy dropping are car off all was going well then his winch packed in!! it rolled of the back of the truck n no way to stop it! some how it turned n when straight on to someones drive mist the posts then missed their car n hit the fence n stopped! a nearly shat my pants good job there warnt any kids on street or parked cars.

      freak accident buddy, but yes very lucky youngerst was out of the way. dont expect a winch to fail so bad, but when they do it can be catastrophic

      You're lucky, winch failed on the recovery truck that was "recovering" my Mums 206sw. Trouble was it was on a 12% gradient, car shot backwards, knocking the guy over and rolled into a wall writing the car off and leaving Mum with PTSD. That was nearly 3 years ago and she's only just had the compo!

      thats what the media do, blow everything out of proportion. The Issue is people not knowing they are eating horse meat, personally i couldnt give a toss as long as it tastes good and doesnt make me ill.

    my 1st hobby grade was a tamiya m01 mini cooper before that was a tandy buggy which was surprisingly fast but lasted all of 3mins on duracells.

      i have a proper vintage fully working chopper in my attic all wrapped up in news paper and its been there for 6 years since we moved in and was in my last attic for 10 years :-)

      this is battered was going to get it powder coated and build it up to use but its way too small for me id look like im riding a chopper if i did ride it! lol. i couldnt do that to a bike its made to be riden on its like buying a puppy n not stroking it.

    well tonight would have gone a lot better if my radio didnt bugger up had to borrow my mates backup set which is doga and was hard to use with the throttle been dodgy on it. but at least i managed to race.

    jesus this seller on ebay i bought my tc from recons the car was in mint condition but what i got was a pile of dog poo basicly. just had a do with him but he says id tampered with it to damage it?but yet i had to clean it to fix it idiot neg feedback left.

      that would be good. he was 1 of them thats got to be right and your wrong.if it was a face to face sale i dont think id have touched it but to look at it now you would think its a new car.half the spares i got with it are gone now though so need to get some more.

    well thats the mardave cobra put back together with new shell and painted chassis looks loads better, just need new wheels and tyres now n it will be ready for a trip to the club.

    id love a display cabinet to put my stuff in but the wife wouldnt go for it she doesnt mind me having rc's but to have them on display she would probably want a devorce. as for the carpet i would also opt for a rug as neil mentioned that way it saves the hassle of finding a new carpet but also half the cost so more money for rc's!
