ite lads, i message all the other guys in the essex threads about meeting up and shiz, and never get replys or anything, so im gonna say here, my merv should be good to go by thrusday or friday, just before the NLB on sunday, but aside from that, any1 else wanna run the trucks in the coming weeks whatever time really, i want to meet some people and run with them, i know there are a few people on here from like dagenham and this area(im in purfleet/rainham way) but never get replys, so please, if your in essex, post here or send me some pm's as to wether you'd like to meet up at some poin or whatever, im dissapointed tbh, i am registered with many US sites, this is the only UK site im on, all the US sites im n all talk about there bashes and shiz, but the only people ive been in speaks with about meeting up are NLB, thats all well and good, but what about the other 5+ people within 10 mins of me? just want to know whats going on, id like to meet the people in my area, share numbas for meets and greets with our rc's, go out and have some fun, after all isnt that what rc is all about? so please, in the essex area, fancy it maybe 1 weekend or week night, lmk either pm me here or u can text me 07791906582, just text me though thanks, brad

i was thinking that a few days ago, slipper did seem a bit tight but i thought nothing of it, well ive learnt from my mistakes lol, diffs will be shimmed and slipper loosened, any1 have a die har way of telling wether the slipper is too tight/loose? orry to hijack thread, i hope my parts come, soooo looking forward to the bash!

well, i said i was coming, i wont be now the diff went again on my merv today after a week of it being in there, and i have decided to sell it, decided that minis arent really my thing anymore so... this leaves me without an rc

hi guys, something i never thought id be doing is selling my beloved merv, but i have to as i need a larger scale rc, and i dont have the money to afford both. in this thread i will list the vehicle, hops ups, spares, tires, everything u can imagine, i will list anything that needs bought/done and anything else of relevance, i am an honest seller and will tell it how it is. i have feedback on here and another forum... http://thetoyz.com/f...showtopic=44535 http://www.microtfor...pic.php?t=15856 http://www.microtfor...pic.php?t=15209 so here goes... this merv was bought last xmas, not the 1 just gone, the 1 before that, since then it has had many things upgraded, modded and repaired, the brushless system runs perfectly, absolutily beautiful, exactly the way it was when i bought it brand new. everything on it is perfect, except it needs a front diff, and the screw that holds the pinion in, has stripped a little(i cant unscrew it because my wrench is worn, but a new wrench on it would work perfect), 2 or 3 of the gpm tie rods/push rods bent, and have been replaced with stock replacements. other than the minor things just mentioned, this car runs sweat as a nut, perfectly, the shocks have JUST been cleaned and filled, so too has the rear diff, i will include any previous diff parts incase u want them. before this merv is sent out, i will COMPLETELY dissasemble it and clean every single part on it for you. i will even do the shocks again if u like, whatever u ask i can do it for you. now heres the actual parts listing and what not... the truck has: GPM: -aluminium shocks(4) -aluminium knuckles/hubs(4) -aluminium push/tie rods(6 out of 8)- the other 2 have been replaced by stockers. traxxas: -velineon brushless system, -dish wheels on pro response tires, -all stock parts on the truck -aluminium hexes - 2 brand new spoilers/wings hitec: HS5085 with only 5 runs on it! basically brand new. wheels: -traxxas pro response tires with dish wheels, -stock talons, -proline road rage tires on titus beadlocks, - unknown brand 1/10 size monster truck wheels lipos: -3 x 2s 1600mah- 2 of them have roughly 30 cycles on, and the 3rd has 1 cycle on it. -1x 3s 1600mah- has about 3 cycles on it. lipos have all been thoroughly taken care of. spares: i have a CRAP LOAD of spares! enough to build majority of the car, 1/2 of them are brand spanking new, and the other half have been lightly used. i have... -complete set of front a arms, -3/4 complete set of rear a arms, -about 5/6 stock knuckles, -4 half shafts and 1 driveshaft -knuckle holders, -2 x rear shock tower -wing mount -steering assembly x 1 and a half -a crap load of screws, hexes, pins u name it. and so much more(refer to pics) i will include every single thing i own that is significant to this merv.tbh i have probably missed some stuff because there is s much of it. i priced up everything i payed for it(hop ups/spares) and cut that in half, then added that onto the value of what the truck is worth right now infront of me, all prices are shipped(tracked and insured) the entire lot-

is my merv gonna be ok size wise over there? is the grass good to run for 16th scale, what is there? like grass, any jumps etc... is this the first time u guys have bashed at this spot?

a few questions... how would u control the led's from your tx if you use the 3rd channel on your rx? i use an acoms 2.4ghz radio. any pics of how they would mount? im thinking of using them for underglow lights

i have been through 3 stockers aswell, just the other day i ordered the hs5085mg servo, insteas of the hs82 or 85 because i run 2.4ghz and i have heard on many other forums that these analogue servos do not run good with the 2.4 rx's, so i got the digital version of 85mg, they hs5085 i'll let you know how it goes once ive received it, keep in mind u are going to need a new servo arm, wether you mod the one that comes with it or buy a new one, heres the arm i bought... http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0095P?FVSEARCH=55701&search=Go through thetoyz forums, i have been told and seen pics of this servo mounted, and with this servo arm and all is good

im in purfleet(near rainham) which is like 10 mins from dagenham, im up for a meet i only have a mini e revo that needs a diff right now but should be ok to run in a few weeks, where do u essex guys usually meet?
