  1. all sorted now. turns out it was my endpoints set all wrong. not a glitch. for some reason when i steer left too hard the steering goes straight and the throttle goes wide open. bloody weird if u ask me lol but it all sorted. thanks for the help peeps
  2. yea i think its worth trying the signal test....will ave to use the wife later i reckon. funnily enough i hardly ever unfold the ariel on top of my tx, mostly due to forgetfulness! would it be worth me turning my failsafe off? im running a fully working killwsitch so i cant see it being an issue....??
  3. thanks, ill double check the failsafe! but its happening at close range, cant be sure about long range as i havnt ventured out of the garden yet!
  4. thanks for info, i havnt got any carbon on my car and also the rx ariel is sticking out well above the body, its about 5-6 inches long too. the tx is located at the front in a little box i made and mounted to a custom radio traymebob i had to make as have shortened my baja, so i cant see why i would be getting these issues. also the rx is brand new as i though it was my old rx causing the issues
  5. hi rc gurus....bit of a strange one here (i think), i got the flysky gt3 installed in my baja and its started to play silly buggers. at random times it just goes nuts and shoots off. i have a killswithch installed which is working fine, cuts off when i hit ch3 and also when i kill the tx, which shows it cuts off when its lost signal. so i cant understand why its happening, as surely it would cut off at loss of signal. any ideas???? cheers lads
  6. thanks for the advice guys, much appreciated
  7. hi guys got a trophy 4.6 truggy, whats the best weight diff oils to use? stock is waay too loose for me. cheers

  13. no its not lexan paint but it is flexible (apparently), im not too worried really as the body isnt as exposed as it would be on a monster truck if yer see what i mean. yea, the bzm is a nice pipe and does sound good, as well as looking cool, but i just couldnt justify spending

  15. here u go......eventually lol....... http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/topic/203967-the-evolution-of-my-bajaso-far-very-pic-heavy/
  16. Eyup peeps. been meaning to post some pics of my baja for a while now but never got round to it. so here goes..... here she is when i fist got her..... as you can see, was originally a km. Hated the white plastic so out with the rit dye lol for her first makeover...including vinyl wrap to hide the HIDEOUS bodyshell design.... then over the next year i didnt really do a mass amount with it as funds were a little low so just upgraded as i broke bits. although i did upgrade the engine a little. now running a hybrid 30.5 ported fuellie. oodles of power and has never let me down...even though it is predominantly a km engine. even triedc a vrc pipe. in my opinion no better than the clone dom pipe i got so after trialling it from myh buddy i decided it wasnt worth the money. then it was time to srtip and service over the winter months as was looking a little beaten and as you can see bloody filthy. kinda left it too long after getting her mudded up befire cleaning so ended up with seized bearings and rusty screws hence the rebuild im doing now. upon the strip done i noticed that the chassis was bent, rear plate bent, clutch was shot as was the spur gear and few other bits needed attention so decided sod it. ill do a total rebuild. so i went drastic lol. all new aluminium braces front and back. suspension supports, engine braces etc etc, decided on a shortie so got a chassis and cut 65mm off it. repainted it in matt black which looks pretty good i.m.o. also splashed out on the pcsc slipper clutch as im fed up of destroying spurs due to my bad habits from bashing my nitros. also changed gearing slightly for a little more top end. colour wise i went for the same colour scheme as the infamous shelby gt500, id almost given up, t.b.h. as i couldnt source the exact colour, then i found that halfords actually mix paint to any colour of your choice. so popped in and an hour later i was the proud owner of 2 spray cans of the exact colour used. once finished, it'll have working brake lights mounted into an 'uber' style rear bumper made by a fellow baja basher and 5mm leds mounted into 7 12 bore shotgun cartridge brass ends which will be mounted into the front bumper. black wheels and grey beadlocks. thats it for now, will post pics as progress happens. next job is to make a solid plate to mount the servos etc (gonna cannibalise the old chassis for that) wiring and cutting the roll cage and body to fit. hope u like what i done so far...... watch this space for updates!
  17. hi guys, can someone please remind me how to upload pics from photobucket? dammed if i can remember. cheers (and sorry) lol
  18. well i would if bloody photobucket was working!!!!
  19. right guys, ive decided to go with the nylon cage, i dont want to but when i think of all the other issues using the steel cage would cause, it makes sense. have any of you got any ideas on the body? obviously it wont fit either so its nonna need cutting. (now REALLY wish i hadnt painted the shell yet). Also, what is the best way to make my electronics relatively water proof? cant use the radio box any more so will have to be mounted to the servo plate im still yet to make. thanks guys, as always any help is greatly appreciated p.s. watch this space, at somepoint tonight ill post up some pics of the build so far in a new thread....ill let you know
